Yield 30 servings (10 cups mix).

Number Of Ingredients 7

Ingredients

5 cups nonfat dry milk powder
2 cups confectioners' sugar
2 cups instant chocolate drink mix
1 cup powdered nondairy creamer
1 cup malted milk powder
1 cup chocolate malted milk powder
1/2 cup baking cocoa

Steps:

In a large airtight container, combine all ingredients. Store in a cool, dry place for up to 2 months (mixture will settle)., To prepare hot chocolate: Place 1/3 cup mix in a mug; add 3/4 cup hot water and stir until blended.

Ingredients

2 cups butter
2 cups white sugar
2 cups corn syrup
1 (17.5 ounce) package crispy corn and rice square cereal
1 (17.5 ounce) package crispy rice cereal squares
1 ½ cups sliced almonds
1 cup sweetened flaked coconut

Steps:

In a large bowl or disposable roasting pan, toss together the corn and rice cereal, rice cereal, almonds and coconut.
Combine the butter, sugar and corn syrup in a large saucepan and bring to a boil. Once boiling, continue to cook for 3 minutes. Pour over the cereals, using a large wooden spoon to stir the mixture until evenly coated. Spread out on a cookie sheet to cool. Store in an airtight container at room temperature.

I love me some hot chocolate on a cold winter's day. I got this recipe from a friend a while back. It is divine! It makes a big batch of dry hot chocolate but it is so worth it. You can store it for yourself or give it out as gifts in a cute Christmas container. I love it because you can change up what flavoring of coffee mate you want to use. French Vanilla and hazel nut are favorite. I like to also crush up peppermint sticks and mix it in the dry mix. The longer it is in there the stronger the flavor is. Every time I give this to someone they call me for the recipe. Enjoy!

Ingredients

25.6 ounce(s) box of dry powdered milk
2 pound(s) box of nestle hot chocolate powder ( if you can't find nestle's then swissmiss is fine too!)
8 ounce(s) jar of any flavor of coffee mate powder
1 1/2 cup(s) powdered sugar

Steps:

Mix all ingredients together in a LARGE bowl. Keep in a sealed container.
To make the hot chocolate: use 1/3 cup of mix to 1 cup of hot water.

I use this all-purpose balanced seasoning blend EVERY day! It's great on chicken, pork, beef, soups, stews, pasta salads, and just about any vegetable you can think of, especially fresh tomatoes and potatoes. I always double or triple the recipe, and keep it in a shaker by my stove. It can be made with or without the salt-substitute or salt, and still impart a delicious flavor.

2 1/2 teaspoons dried basil leaves
1 tablespoon ground black pepper
1 tablespoon onion powder
2 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
3/4 teaspoon ground oregano
3/4 teaspoon thyme (coarse ground leaves)
5 teaspoons salt substitute or 4 1/2 teaspoons salt (optional)

Steps:

Place all ingredients in a jar and shake to mix.
For easy dispensing, pour into a spice shaker container with an air-tight top.
For optimum freshness, use within 6 months.
