- Preheat the oven broiler. Grease a baking dish.
- In a bowl, mix the Parmesan cheese, butter, mayonnaise, lemon juice, green onions, salt, and hot pepper sauce.
- Arrange the halibut fillets in the prepared baking dish.
- Broil halibut fillets 8 minutes in the prepared oven, or until easily flaked with a fork. Spread with the Parmesan cheese mixture, and continue broiling 2 minutes, or until topping is bubbly and lightly browned.

Steps:
- Skin fillets if necessary and cut into serving size pieces. Baste fish with lemon juice and let stand for approximately 10 minutes.
- Baste fish with butter and place on a well-greased broiler pan and broil 4 inches from heat source for 4 to 5 minutes. Turn and broil till fish flakes.
- Combine Parmesan cheese, margarine or butter, mayonnaise, green onion, salt and liquid hot pepper sauce.
- Remove fish from broiler and spread 1/2 the Parmesan Cheese mixture on fish and return to broiler until fish browns nicely.
- Remove to plates and place remaining Parmesan Cheese mixture on fillets for additional sauce.

- In a small microwave-safe dish, combine the onion, butter and garlic. Microwave, uncovered, on high for 1-2 minutes or until onion is partially cooked. Stir in the lemon juice, parsley, salt, tarragon and thyme. , Arrange fillets in a greased 2-qt. round microwave-safe dish. Top with half of the butter mixture. Stir bread crumbs into the remaining butter mixture; sprinkle over fillets. , Cover and microwave on high for 4-6 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork.

- Turn toaster oven to convection bake at 400 degrees (or bake at 425 degrees). Pat halibut pieces dry with a paper towel. Arrange in a 9-inch square baking pan prepared with nonstick cooking spray. Combine remaining ingredients except cheese. Spread mixture evenly over halibut. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until fish is cooked through and cheese is lightly browned. Makes 4 servings.
