Ham, Cheese and Mayo Sandwich image

I know this is so simple, but I just had to post it because my memory is very slack so I forget sometimes so need reminding.

Number Of Ingredients 4

4 slices white bread
4 slices cheese, thickly cut
2 slices ham
2 tablespoons mayonnaise

Steps:

  • Spread mayonnaise evenly on two pieces of the bread.
  • Place a piece of cheese on the bread.
  • Place a slice of ham on top of the cheese.
  • Place the other slice of bread on top.
  • Cut in half.
  • Enjoy.

Christy's Awesome Hot Ham and Cheese image

I love making this easy grilled ham and cheese sandwich on a cool night with a cup of tomato soup.

Number Of Ingredients 6

2 slices whole grain bread
2 teaspoons butter
2 slices Swiss cheese
2 thin slices deli ham
1 teaspoon mayonnaise
1 teaspoon whole grain mustard

Steps:

  • Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Spread one side of each slice of bread with 1 teaspoon butter. Place one slice, butter-side down in the hot skillet. Top with Swiss cheese and ham. Spread the unbuttered side of the second slice of bread with mayonnaise and mustard; place it, butter-side up on top of the sandwich. Cook until the sandwich is golden brown and the cheese is melted, about 3 minutes per side.
