1 (16 ounce) package pasta
1 pound lean ground beef
½ cup chopped onion
2 (8 ounce) cans tomato sauce
1 teaspoon white sugar
¾ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon minced garlic
¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
1 (8 ounce) container cottage cheese
¼ cup sour cream
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
⅓ cup chopped green onions
⅓ cup chopped green bell pepper
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • In a large pot cook with boiling salted water cook pasta until al dente. Drain.
  • Meanwhile, in a large skillet over medium heat cook ground beef and chopped onions until brown. Stir in tomato sauce, sugar, salt, garlic, and pepper. Remove from heat.
  • In a large bowl combine the cottage cheese, sour cream, softened cream cheese, green onion, and green bell pepper.
  • To assemble, in a greased 11x7x1 1/2 inch baking dish spread half of the cooked and drained pasta. Top with half of the meat mixture. Cover with cheese mixture and remaining noodles and meat sauce. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
  • Bake in a preheat 350 degree F(175 degrees C) for 30 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.

1 medium onion, chopped
2 (8 ounce) cans tomato sauce
1/4-1/2 cup salsa
2 cups small macaroni shells, (cooked and drained and not too hot)
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
1 (8 ounce) carton sour cream
(blend cream cheese and sour cream together)
1 can whole kernel corn, drained
1 1/2 cups grated cheese (sharp, or medium)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • In a skillet brown hamburger and onion. Drain.
  • Add tomato sauce and salsa.
  • Simmer to blend the flavors.
  • Butter a 9" X 13" casserole pan.
  • Make layers of cooked macaroni, blended cream cheese and sour cream, then hamburger mixture, sprinkle on 1/2 the corn and 1/2 the grated cheese.
  • Repeat the layers.
  • Cover with foil and bake for 20-25 minutes or until warm.

cooking spray
1 pound lean ground beef
½ cup chopped onion
1 teaspoon minced garlic
38 ounces pasta sauce
¼ teaspoon Italian seasoning
¼ teaspoon ground cumin
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
1 pinch garlic salt, or to taste
8 ounces sour cream
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 (8 ounce) container ricotta cheese
1 ½ cups shredded Cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil; add mostaccioli and cook, stirring occasionally, until tender yet firm to the bite, 8 to 10 minutes. Drain.
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Coat the inside of a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Heat a large, deep skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir beef, onion, and garlic in the hot skillet until beef is browned and crumbly, 5 to 7 minutes; drain and discard grease.
  • Mix pasta sauce, Italian seasoning, cumin, salt, black pepper, and garlic salt into ground beef mixture; bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until flavors have blended, about 20 minutes.
  • Stir sour cream, cream cheese, and ricotta cheese together in a bowl until smooth. Stir cheese mixture and pasta together in a bowl until evenly coated; spread into the prepared baking dish. Spoon pasta sauce mixture over pasta mixture. Cover dish with aluminum foil.

½ lb ground beef
½ medium onion, chopped
1 (24-oz) jar marinara sauce
½ cup sour cream
6 oz sliced Provolone
4 oz shredded or sliced Mozzarella
¼ cup grated Parmesan
chopped parsley

Steps:

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook until al dente. Drain.
  • Meanwhile, in a large skillet, brown the ground beef. Add the onion and cook until softened. Add the spaghetti sauce and allow to simmer for 15 minutes. Stir in the sour cream. Add the drained pasta and stir to coat.
  • Preheat the oven to 350F. Spray a 2 quart baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Pour half of the pasta into the baking dish. Top with half of the Provolone and half of the Mozzarella. Pour the remaining pasta on top and top with the remaining Provolone and Mozzarella, and sprinkle the Parmesan on top.

1 tablespoon olive oil
1 pound ground beef
1/2 medium sweet onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 1/2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 cups beef stock
1 (15-ounce) can tomato sauce
3/4 cup heavy cream
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
6 ounces shredded extra-sharp cheddar cheese, about 1 1/2 cups

Steps:

  • In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook pasta according to package instructions; drain well. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, about 3-5 minutes, making sure to crumble the beef as it cooks; drain excess fat. Set aside. Add onion to the skillet, and cook, stirring frequently, until translucent, about 2-3 minutes. Stir in garlic and Italian seasoning until fragrant, about 1 minute. Whisk in flour until lightly browned, about 1 minute. Gradually whisk in beef stock and tomato sauce. This is one of those recipes that I can eat over and over as leftovers and never seem to get tired of. Everyone always comes back for seconds (at least) when this is served.

1 lb hamburger or 1 lb ground turkey
2 -3 garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon salt
1 dash pepper
1 teaspoon sugar
1 (26 ounce) jar pasta sauce
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese (softened)
2 cups sour cream
6 -8 green onions (chopped)
1 (15 ounce) bag egg noodles
1 cup shredded Italian cheese blend

Steps:

  • Fry hamburger and garlic together. Drain grease. Add salt, pepper, sugar, and tomato sauce. Simmer 15-20 minutes.
  • Cook egg noodles in salted water. Drain noodles and butter them if desired.

1 bag uncooked medium egg noodles
5-6 green onions (chopped)
1 8 oz sour cream
1 3 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat. Break the meat up in to crumbles and cook until browned.
  • Stir in petite diced tomatoes, tomatoes with green chilies, tomato paste, salt, pepper and Italian seasoning.

  • Take off heat.

1 lb ground beef
1/2 small green pepper, diced
1/2 small red pepper, diced
1/2 medium onion, chopped
2 medium garlic cloves, minced
8 oz cream cheese, at room temp or microwave for a minute to soften
1 cup sour cream
1 cup Parmesan cheese
1 cup cheddar cheese or mozzarella
12 oz pasta of your choice (cooked al dente )
3 cups pasta sauce of your choice
salt and pepper to taste

Steps:

  • Preheat your oven to 350°.
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, saute the hamburger and cook until almost cooked through.
  • Add the onion, peppers, garlic salt and pepper ad cook until the veggies are cooked through.
  • In a medium saucepan boil water for pasta . Add pasta and cook until pasta is just al dente. Do not over cook as the pasta will continue to cook in the oven. Drain.
  • Add the cream cheese. If you didn't leave it out at room temperature you can microwave it for a minute in the microwave. Add sour cream and Parmesan cheese.
  • In a sprayed 9"x 13" casserole dish, add the pasta mixture. Then add the hamburger mixture and sauce on top and stir until everything is loosely combined.,
  • Top with the shredded cheddar or mozzarella.

One 15-ounce can tomato sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
Freshly ground black pepper
8 ounces egg noodles
1/2 cup sour cream
1 1/4 cups small curd cottage cheese
Pinch red pepper flakes
1/2 cup sliced green onions (less to taste)
1 cup grated sharp Cheddar
Crusty French bread, for serving

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Brown the ground chuck in a large skillet. Drain the fat, and then add the tomato sauce, 1/2 teaspoon salt and plenty of freshly ground black pepper. Stir, and then simmer while you prepare the other ingredients.
  • Cook the egg noodles until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a medium bowl, combine the sour cream and cottage cheese. Add plenty of freshly ground black pepper and a pinch of red pepper flakes. Add to the noodles and stir. Add the green onions and stir.

  • Serve with crusty French bread.
  • To freeze: Assemble the Sour Cream Noodle Bake in a disposable aluminum oven-proof pan and seal the top of the container with the lid or heavy foil. Seal the edges to prevent freezer burn and place in the freezer.
  • To cook from frozen: Place directly in a 375-degree F oven and bake, covered, for 45 minutes. Remove the lid and bake until lightly brown and bubbly, about 20 minutes more.
