Steps:

  • In a mixing bowl, stir together the sour cream and 3/4 of the swiss cheese.
  • Add in macaroni and ham; stir to combine (add salt and pepper if needed for seasoning).
  • Transfer mixture to a 13x9 inch baking dish that has been sprayed with cooking spray.

2 ½ cups uncooked egg noodles
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
½ cup white wine
¼ cup water
2 cups chopped cooked ham
½ cup shredded Swiss cheese
1 cup seasoned stuffing mix (coarse-crumb style)

Steps:

  • Preheat an oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Fill a large pot with lightly salted water and bring to a rolling boil over high heat. Once the water is boiling, stir in the egg noodles, and return to a boil. Cook the pasta uncovered, stirring occasionally, until the pasta has cooked through, but is still firm to the bite, about 5 minutes. Drain well in a colander set in the sink.
  • Combine the cream of mushroom soup, white wine, and water in a large bowl. Stir in the cooked egg noodles, ham, and Swiss cheese. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle the dry stuffing mix over the dish. Bake uncovered until the casserole is bubbling and browned, about 30 minutes.

5 large potatoes (about 4 pounds), peeled and cut into 3/4-inch pieces
1/4 cup butter, cubed
1 medium onion, chopped
1 garlic clove, minced
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
2 cups 2% milk
1-1/3 cups roasted red pepper Alfredo sauce
1 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon dill weed
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 cups cubed fully cooked ham
2 cups shredded Swiss cheese
1/4 cup seasoned bread crumbs
1 tablespoon butter, melted

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375°. Place potatoes in a large saucepan; add water to cover. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, covered, 8-10 minutes or until crisp-tender. Meanwhile, in a large skillet, heat butter over medium-high heat. Add onion; cook and stir 6-8 minutes or until tender. Add garlic; cook and stir 1 minute. Stir in flour until blended; gradually whisk in milk. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly; cook and stir 1-2 minutes or until thickened. Stir in Alfredo sauce and seasonings; heat through., Drain potatoes; transfer to a greased 13x9-in. baking dish. Layer with ham, cheese and sauce. In a small bowl, combine bread crumbs and butter.   • Heat oven to 350°F. Lightly spray 13x9-inch (3-quart) glass baking dish with cooking spray.
  • In medium saucepan, heat water, whipping cream, butter, salt and pepper to boiling. Gradually stir in grits; reduce heat. Cover; simmer 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add 1/2 cup of the cheese and the garlic, stirring until cheese is melted. Cool 10 to 15 minutes. Stir in 2 of the eggs; pour into baking dish. Bake 20 minutes; remove from oven. Increase oven temperature to 400°F.

1 pound Italian loaf, crust removed, cut crosswise into 1/2-inch slices
1 cup diced Virginia ham (1/4-inch dice)

2 tablespoons minced chives
3 small tomatoes, cored and sliced into 1/4-inch rounds
8 large eggs
4 cups milk
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
2 teaspoons coarse salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Steps:

  • Butter a 9-by-13-inch baking dish. Arrange half of the bread slices in the bottom of the dish. Sprinkle with half of the ham, cheese, and chives. Add another layer of bread and cover it with the remaining ham, cheese, and chives. Arrange the tomato slices on top.
