EASY HAM AND CHEESE APPETIZER SANDWICHES
This is a delicious, easy appetizer, and always a hit! Ham and Swiss cheese are baked inside rolls with a flavorful spread to form delicious little sandwiches.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- In a medium bowl, mix together butter, poppy seeds, onion, Worcestershire sauce and prepared Dijon-style mustard.
- Slice rolls in half horizontally and set aside tops. Spread bottoms with the butter mixture. Top with ham and Swiss cheese. Replace tops.
- Arrange rolls in a single layer in a medium baking dish. Bake in the preheated oven 10 to 12 minutes, until rolls are lightly browned and cheese is melted.

DEVILED HAM ON CELERY

- Trim a thin strip down length of rounded side of each celery rib to form a flat bottom, then rest celery on flat bottom. Cut away curved edges with a large knife to form flat-sided pieces of celery, discarding trimmings. Diagonally cut celery into 32 (1 1/4-inch) lengths.
- Pulse half of ham in a food processor until finely chopped, then mince remaining ham with a sharp large knife. Stir together finely chopped and minced ham with remaining ingredients and pepper to taste in a bowl, then mound 1 teaspoon of filling onto each piece of celery.
HAM & OLIVE HORS D'OEUVRES
Very quick and yummy. I don't usually buy sliced cooked deli ham but for this it works really well (the square kind in the package, ie. Schniders). Make lots because these are always a hit.

Steps:
- take olives out of jar and dry on papertowel.
- dry ham with papertowel also.
- spread about 1 1/2 tbsp of cream cheese on each slice of ham.
- gently cut each piece of ham into 5 strips using serrated knife.
- lay olive at end of one strip and roll up.
- pierce with toothpick.

- 1. Mash the ham flakes. I do it with a potato masher.
- 2. Add Philadelphia Cream cheese and mash the two ingredients together until well blended.
- 3. Spread the mixture on tortillas up to the edges and roll. Fill the ends. Put in a container and refrigerate for a couple of hours before cutting into bite-size pieces.

- Cake salée – Savory cake. Cake salée is not a sweet cake but a savory one. Salée means salty in French. They tend to be a staple at apéro hour with young Parisians since they are so easy to make in advance and transport if you are having a potluck type get-together.
- Salmon Tartare. Another smoked salmon favorite is the salmon tartare. Chop the smoked salmon into small pieces for your tartare and add a touch of salt, pepper, olive oil, and lemon juice.
