ITALIAN SUBS (HOAGIES OR SUBMARINE SANDWICHES)
Quick and easy, but oh so good! A family favorite. I prefer homemade Italian Dressing (my variation of Recipe #20158, see my review there) but others in the family prefer store bought.

Steps:
- Toast open sub rolls under the broiler until lightly browned.
- Top each roll (covering both sides) with 1 slice ham, 1 slice turkey (optional), 4 slices hard salami, 6 slices pepperoni and 1-2 slices provolone cheese.
- Place back under the broiler and heat until the cheese it brown and bubbly.
- Remove from oven and top with Italian Dressing or mayo. Serve with chips and carrot sticks.

BAKED ITALIAN HOAGIE RECIPE
This baked Italian Hoagie recipe is the perfect crowd-pleasing main dish. They're crazy-easy to put together and bake up just right!

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Place the rolls into a 9" x 13" baking pan, open-side up.
- Bake the rolls for 5 minutes and remove from oven.
- Place 3 folded slices of capicola hot ham onto the bottom of each roll.
- Add a layer of 3 folded pieces of salami onto the sandwiches.
- Divide the sliced banana peppers between the 6 sandwiches.
- Fold each slice of provolone cheese in half to break into two pieces and place on top of the banana peppers.
- Return the pan to the oven and bake for 20 minutes. Serve immediately with Italian dressing.
SALAMI, HAM, AND PEPPERONI SANDWICHES IN THE AIR FRYER
This three-meat sandwich is crispy on the outside, tender and cheesy on the inside, with salami being the star of the show. Your air fryer crisps up the meat and toasts the bread at the same time and in only 5 minutes. Feel free to sub mozzarella cheese for the provolone.

Steps:
- Place mushrooms in the basket of the air fryer. Set air fryer to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and cook mushroom slices for 5 minutes.
- Spread 1 tablespoon pesto onto the bottom half of the hoagie bun. Arrange salami slices over the pesto. Add ham and pepperoni.
- Place 1 slice of cheese over the ham and pepperoni. Top with mushrooms and olives. Add remaining slice of cheese. Spread remaining tablespoon of pesto on the other half of the bun and place on top to complete the sandwich.
- Place entire sandwich in the basket of the air fryer. Cook until cheese has melted and salami is crisp, about 5 minutes.

- Halve the rolls horizontally, leaving on edge cut to form a hinge, spread the mayonnaise on the cut sides of the rolls, and on the bottom halves of the rolls layer the lettuce, the onion, the salami, the capicola, the provolone, and the tomato. In a small bowl whisk together the oil, the vinegar, the orégano, the cherry peppers, and salt and pepper to taste, drizzle the dressing over the fillings, and cover the fillings with the top halves of the rolls. Cut each sandwich in half.
ITALIAN SUB PASTA SALAD
Tastes like an Italian sub.... but it's a salad! Nice for summer picnics. Best if eaten the day prepared.

Steps:
- Make sure your pasta has cooled completely.
- In a large bowl, toss together pasta, tomatoes, cucumber, red bell pepper, shredded lettuce, chopped onion, sliced black olives, ham, salami and provolone.
- In a jar or crouet, pour all the dressing ingredients. Shake very very well.
- Pour over the salad and toss to coat evenly.
- Serve.
- If not eating right away, give another good mix/toss before serving.
- Best if eaten the same day as prepared.
