EASY HAM AND CHEESE BREAKFAST PIZZA



Easy Ham and Cheese Breakfast Pizza image

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 13.8 oz tube Refrigerated Pizza Crust
2 Tbls olive oil
8 Eggs
1/3 cup milk
1 8 oz package diced ham
2 cups shredded Colby Jack cheese
salt and pepper to taste

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 425degrees.
  • Unroll the pizza crustinto a 15x10x1 inch sheet cake pan, stretch to fill the pan and curl up theedges to form a crust.
  • Brush crust with olive oil and prick with a fork to avoid bubbles.
  • Bake until lightly browned about 7-8 minutes.
  • In a medium size bowl whisk together the eggs, milk salt and pepper.
  • In a medium skillet heat a little oil over medium heat. Add egg mixture and cook until soft scrambled.
  • Spoon egg mixture overcrust, add ham and cheese. Bake for another 7 minutes or until cheese is melted.

1 (8.5 ounce) package of Pillsbury Crescent Rolls or Pillsbury pre-made pizza dough sheet
1 cup frozen hash brown rounds, thawed and quartered.
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
3 eggs lightly beaten
2 Tablespoons & 2 teaspoons of milk
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup diced red bell peppers
1/4 cup diced yellow bell peppers
1 1/2 cups diced ham
1/4 cup sliced green onions

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375*F Using a pizza pan, roll out crescent rolls in a circle pointing each tip towards the center. Stretch and press dough together and seal up edges creating a round pizza. (If you don't have a pizza pan, or don't want to go through the hassle, use Pillsbury pizza dough and roll out to fit a jellyroll pan (cookie sheet with edges). Roll edges of dough up creating a pizza edge which will help keep the eggs in. Sprinkle dough with ham, hash browns, peppers, and green onions & any other desired toppings. In a small bowl combine eggs, milk, salt & pepper. Pour over veggies. Top with cheeses. Bake for 15 - 20 minutes or until cheese is melted and edges are tanned. Slice and serve immediately.

  • Pre-heat oven to 525F degrees. Some oven will only go as high as 450F. Go as high as you can and adjust the cooking time as needed. If using a pizza stone, be sure to pre-heat the stone at the same time that you pre-heat the oven to avoid from cracking.
  • Divide the pizza dough into four equal parts. On a floured surface work the dough with a roller to form into a small round, adjusting the thickness according to your preference.
  • Brush each pizza with a thin even layer of olive oil. Be sure to brush the edges too! Break each cheese slice into four and randomly place on top of the pizza. I used about 1 1/2 slices per pizza. I also tried to avoid the center so the egg has a nice little nest to help stay in place.
  • Place hopped up ham and pancetta around the pizza as well. Finally crack one egg in the middle, sprinkle with everything bagel seasoning and top with a handful of parmesan cheese
