HAM AND EGG SALAD SANDWICH SPREAD



Ham and Egg Salad Sandwich Spread image

This is a twist on traditional ham salad recipes for those of you who prefer dill pickles over sweet. Serve on pumpernickel bread with fresh alfalfa sprouts!

4 (1/4 inch thick) slices ham
4 hard-boiled eggs, peeled and chopped
3 stalks celery, minced
1 ½ cups light mayonnaise
½ cup dill pickle relish
¼ cup minced onion
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
ground black pepper to taste

Steps:

  • Shred the ham using the shredding blade on a food processor.
  • Stir shredded ham, chopped eggs, celery, light mayonnaise, relish, onion, Dijon mustard, and black pepper together in a large bowl.
  • Refrigerate 2 hours before serving.

Deviled eggs and ham salad .what a natural combo! This gussied up egg salad is awesome -and u can also use it to fill traditional deviled eggs to boot! Enjoy!

1 dozen hardboiled eggs
1 c finely chopped cooked ham
1/4 c finely chopped celery
3/4 c mayonnaise
2 Tbsp mustard (u can use prepared, stoneground or even dijon)
1 Tbsp minced green onion
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp ground thyme
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp paprika , ground

Steps:

  • 1. Mash eggs til they are chunked small. Stir in spices, celery, green onion and ham. Stir in mustard and mayonnaise til well mixed.

2 cups creamy salad dressing (such as Miracle Whip®)
1 (8 ounce) jar sweet pickle relish
1 tablespoon prepared mustard
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 pinch salt, or to taste
3 pounds smoked ham, cut into chunks
6 hard-cooked eggs
6 green onions, chopped
1 small green bell pepper, diced
3 stalks celery, diced

Steps:

  • Stir creamy salad dressing, sweet pickle relish, mustard, black pepper, and salt in a large bowl until thoroughly blended.
  • Grind smoked ham, hard-cooked eggs, green onions, green bell pepper, and celery together into a bowl with a food grinder, spooning tablespoons of salad dressing mixture into the grinder for moisture as you work.
  • Combine the ham mixture thoroughly with the remaining salad dressing mixture; store covered in refrigerator until serving time.

3 cups ground fully cooked ham
1 hard-boiled large egg, chopped
2 tablespoons finely chopped celery
2 teaspoons finely chopped onion
2 teaspoons sweet pickle relish
3/4 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon prepared mustard
Assorted crackers

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine the first five ingredients. Combine mayonnaise and mustard; add to ham mixture and mix well. Refrigerate until serving. Serve with crackers.
