JEFF'S HOT DOG CHILI

Steps:

• Place ground beef in a large saucepan with water and mash the beef with a potato masher to break apart. Stir in tomato sauce, ketchup, chili powder, salt, black pepper, sugar, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to a boil and cook over medium heat until the chili has thickened slightly and the beef is fully cooked, about 20 minutes.

HOT DOG CHILI SAUCE

Steps:

• Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir beef in the hot skillet until browned and crumbly, 5 to 7 minutes; drain and discard grease. Add beef broth to ground beef; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer until liquid is slightly reduced, about 30 minutes.
• Mix tomatoes with puree, chili powder, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and cayenne pepper into ground beef mixture. Simmer, stirring occasionally, until mixture is very thick, about 1 1/2 hours.

• 1. In a large heavy pot brown, break up (as fine or course as you prefer), and drain burger.
• 2. Add all remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer to desired consistently.

Steps:

• 1. Add water to a large heavy pot, put hamburger in and break up with your hands, cook till hamburger is no longer pink.
• 2. Mix all other ingredients until smooth, add to pot.
• 3. Bring to a boil, and the reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour.

THE BEST HOMEMADE HOT DOG CHILI

Steps:

• Add ground beef to a medium pot or large saucepan and brown over medium-high heat. Crumble the ground beef with a wooden spoon into small pieces as it cooks.
• Once browned, add garlic and cook an additional 2 minutes. Sprinkle in chili seasoning and stir to distribute evenly.
• Add all the rest of the ingredients to the pot and stir to combine. Bring to a simmer and cook for 15 minutes, or until thickened to your liking.
• Serve immediately with hot dogs, hot dog buns, and your favorite toppings.
