- Wash your green beans, trim the ends with either a sharp knife or scissors, and allow the beans to dry.
EASY SWEET GREEN BEANS
Easy Sweet Green Beans are quick, easy and delicious! This mixture tastes so good with beans and rice so I always serve them together!

Steps:
- Heat water in a pot large enough to hold all of your beans until boiling.
- Wash, trim and cut your green beans into bite sized pieces while you are waiting for the water to boil.
- When water is boiling and your beans are prepared dump them into the boiling water for about 5 minutes or bright green.
- While beans are boiling grab a medium bowl and combine soy sauce, melted butter and brown sugar. Stir until blended. Set aside.
- When beans are cooked drain them in a colander in the sink or how ever you prefer. Return beans to the pot and add the soy mixture on top of the beans. Toss beans in mixture until they are all coated. Serve immediately.
- I always serve this dish with rice. I usually serve the beans beside or on top of the rice with a little extra sauce drizzled all over!

- Add 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar to sugar, mix and set aside.
- Heat a skillet on high heat, add oil.
- Add garlic, shallots and green beans, salt and pepper; stir fry for a few minutes until beans start to shrivel.
- Reduce heat to low, add water and balsamic mixture and cover, cook for 5 minutes more.
- Stir in remaining balsamic, add butter and almonds, swirling pan to blend.

- Simmer butter in heavy medium saucepan over medium heat until deep golden brown, swirling pan occasionally, about 6 minutes. Remove from heat. Whisk in vinegar, honey and mustard. Season sauce with salt and pepper.
- Brush fish with oil; sprinkle with salt and pepper. Heat heavy large skillet over medium-high heat. Add 3 swordfish steaks. Sauté just until opaque in center, about 4 minutes per side. Transfer to plates; tent loosely with foil to keep warm. Repeat with remaining fish. Whisk sauce over low heat to rewarm if necessary. Spoon sauce over fish.
