This is an easy recipe fo a beginning cook. I make this for a football game with rolls and condiments for sandwiches. I sometimes make this for Easter.

Number Of Ingredients 4

8 lbs boneless ham, ready to eat
1 1/2 cups grape jelly
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1 tablespoon prepared horseradish

Steps:

  • Heat ham as directed on the label or at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
  • Remove from oven and score, cutting diagonal lines 1/2 inch deep and 1 inch apart.
  • Cut across the lines to make diamond shapes.
  • Combine jelly, mustard and horseradish.
  • Spoon mixture in small amounts over the ham throughout the remainder of baking.
  • Increase temperature to 425 degrees and bake until ham is browned and glazed about 30 minutes.

1 8-lb boneless ham cooked
1/2 ts Dry mustard
1 1/2 c Grape jelly

Steps:

  • Heat ham as directed on label or at 325F 1 1/2 hours. Remove from oven and score, cutting diagonal lines 1/2-inch deep and 1-inch apart. Cut across lines to form diamond shapes. Combine jelly, mustard and horseradish. Spoon mixture, small amounts at a time, at intervals, over ham throughout remainder of baking. ¾ cup distilled white vinegar
6 tablespoons grape jelly
1 ½ teaspoons paprika
1 ½ teaspoons dry mustard powder
6 tablespoons brown sugar
1 ½ (12 ounce) bottles bottled sweet chili sauce (such as Heinz® Premium Chili Sauce)
6 tablespoons water
3 pounds chipped chopped ham
12 sandwich buns, split

Steps:

  • Stir together the vinegar, grape jelly, paprika, mustard powder, brown sugar, bottled sweet chili sauce, and water in a 2-quart saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil, turn heat to low, and simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Mix in the chipped ham and stir to combine with sauce. Refrigerate overnight.
  • The next day, bring the sauce and ham slowly to a simmer over low heat and cook 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
  • Spoon the ham onto sandwich buns to serve.
