GRANDMA'S SLOPPY JOES
This recpe is not spicy but more sweey and rich, the way we liked them in the 1950s.

Steps:
- 1. Brown the ground beef and onion in a large deep skillet. Drain the grease from the skillet as well as possible.
- 2. Add all the remaining ingredients and simmer for 30 minutes. Serve hot on warm hamburger buns.

- In a large skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat until the meat is no longer pink; drain. Stir in the ketchup, relish and brown sugar; mix well. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes or until heated through. Spoon onto buns.

MY GRANDPA'S OLD FASHIONED EGG NOG
My grandpa made this, then my mom took over when he passed, and now I carry the torch. I have had many people tell me they don't like egg nog....until they taste grandpa's. I have had to double and triple the recipe each year so that I could have left overs lol; enjoy!

- 1. Beat the egg yolks and sugar together until thick. Slowly stir in the brandy, rum, milk and cream. Refrigerate until thoroughly chilled and pour into a punch bowl. Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold gently into the eggnog. Grate a little nutmeg on top and serve in 4-ounce punch glasses

Steps:
- brown ground beef, drain excess fat.
- add 1 can french onion soup.
- bring to a boil (2-3mins).
- mix gravy and 3/4 cup water in separate bowl.
- add gravy to the beef, gently simmer to thicken gravy.10-15mins or to desired consistency.
- use flour to thicken if needed, by sprinkling flour slowly over beef.
- old fashioned hamburger buns or any buns or breads will work to serve.
- serving sizes depends on the size of the buns you use!
