APPLE HONEY GLAZE
Just an experiment for a glaze to pour over smoked mahi mahi fillets. These measurements are approximate. Apparently it was suitable since dinner was very quiet the first time I made it. Big hit at my house.

- Combine honey, apple juice, molasses, barbeque sauce, cinnamon, and nutmeg together in a saucepan; bring to a soft boil. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, until glaze is smooth and thickened, about 15 minutes.

GRANDMA W'S HOLIDAY HAM
Every holiday my Grandma W made this version of ham and boy did the house smell fantastic while it was baking!

Steps:
- 1. Put your ham in the pan you intend to roast it in, and then put pineapple rings (save juice) onto the ham with toothpicks to secure. Put cherries (save juice) inside the center of each pineapple ring, with toothpicks to secure. Sprinkle combined juices over the top so they drip down into the pan, and sprinkle brown sugar over all. Top with foil, and bake until heated through, basting occasionally to moisten.
- 2. Before serving, remove the toothpick secured fruits, and put into a bowl to serve on the side. Slice ham and serve.

- Preheat oven to 375. Place ham cut side down in deep baking pan. Mix pear nectar and OJ together and pour over ham. Roast for 30 minutes, basting every 10 minutes with juice.
- Meanwhile mix together syrup and sugar. Pour on top of ham then spread evenly over it. Bake until sugar carmelizes and starts to form a crust, about an hour. Let rest, enjoy!
