MY GRANDMA LULA'S 1919 WHIPPED CREAM SLAW
GROWING UP THIS WAS ON THE TABLE A LOT. I ALWAYS THOUGHT IT WAS BETTER THAN ANY OTHER SLAW I'D EATEN. YES...I DO MAKE IT NOW. WITH ALL THE KIDDO'S GONE FROM HOME AND LIVING IN OTHER STATES, THERE IS JUST THE '2' OF US AT HOME NOW....SO YOU'LL NEED TO DOUBLE OR TRIPLE THIS FOR MORE PEOPLE. I'M POSTING THE RECIPE JUST AS SHE GAVE IT TO ME. SHE PASSED AWAY IN THE EARLY 1980'S. NOT SURE WHY SHE NAMED IT 'LULA'S 1919 WHIPPED CREAM SLAW'...UNLESS THAT'S WHEN SHE MADE IT UP(???). Steps:
- Finely chop cabbage
- Mix next 4-ingredients together.
- Pour over cabbage and mix well....chill and enjoy.
- Simple but delish!!!
- P.S.S. Now days I use Stevia instead of sugar. Also I use Tarragon Vinegar...she used apple cider vinegar.
GRANDMA SALAD (LEMON/LIME JELLO SALAD)
This is my best friend's grandma's recipe. It's similar to another posted but different enough to merit it's own place. We make this every holiday and it's my most favorite way to make jello ever! Don't let the ingredients scare you out of trying this one.

Steps:
- Dissolve jello in boiling water.
- Mix in all ingredients except cottage cheese and whipped cream.
- Cool mixture then add cottage cheese and whipped cream.
- Refrigerate until molded. Cover so it doesn't dry out.
- Use a 9X13 glass pan or pretty bundt shaped pan. If you use a bundt pan, set the pan in warm water for a few minutes before unmolding.

GRANDMA LULA'S LIME SALAD
Better known in our family as "Green Stuff" and used to be something Grandma had on her table every time we would visit. I am trying to keep the tradition going now that she's not with us any more.

Steps:
- Put jello and marshmallows in a mixing bowl. Pour boiling water over both. Stir to dissolve jello and melt marshmallows.
- In another bowl, mix cream cheese and whipping cream until smooth and creamy.
- Add cream cheese mixture and pineapple to jello and stir well. Add nuts if desired. Mix well.
- Pour in mold if desired or in the bowl you plan to serve the salad in and refridgerate for 3-5 hours.
