Steps:
- 1. Add ice cubes in a cocktail shaker. Add the both rums, brandy, and both juices. Vigoriously shake for several seconds, or until a thick froth forms on top.
- 2. Add crushed ice in a Collins glass. Strain cocktail into glass, garnish with a lime wedge, and serve.

- Fill cocktail shaker with ice; add pineapple juice, orange juice and all rum.
- Cover and shake until very cold. Fill 2 short glasses with ice.
- Strain cocktail mixture, and divide between the 2 glasses equally.
- Garnish with pineapple wedges and orange slices.

GOOMBAY SMASH
This drink takes its name from a lively festival celebrated annually in the Bahamas, Key West, and other tropical islands. Originating in Africa and the West Indies, the festival featured dancers who used a skin-covered drum they called a "gombey," meaning rhythm.
