GOOBER BARS
A recipe I found in a community cookbook a while back. This is one of those 'I'll make this someday' recipes. I'm putting it on Zaar for safekeeping.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Mix the base together and press into an unbuttered pan, 9 x 13, and bake 12 to 16 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle 3 cups marshmallows on the base mixture and place back in the oven until marshmallows puff up.
- Remove from oven and cool.
- While cooling, mix the corn syrup, butter, vanilla and butterscotch chips over low heat , stirring constantly until topping is smooth. Remove from heat and add immediately the Rice Krispies and Peanuts.
- Spread topping over the cooled base.
- Cut into squares.

PBJ CRUNCH BARS
If you are a fan of peanut butter and jelly, you will love these bars. I get a lot of requests for the recipe. I use smooth peanut butter, but crunchy can be substituted.

Steps:
- Preheat an oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
- Stir the oats, flour, white sugar, brown sugar, graham cracker crumbs, and cinnamon in the bowl of a stand mixer. Using the whisk attachment, cut the butter into the mixture until crumbly. Press about half of the mixture into the bottom of an ungreased 9x13-inch baking dish. Spread the peanut butter over the oat mixture. Stir the jelly to make it spreadable and swirl into the peanut butter. Sprinkle the remaining oat mixture over the peanut butter and jelly layer; gently pat until it sticks together.
- Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, 25 to 35 minutes. Allow to cool completely before cutting into bars.

DIANE'S GOOBER BARS
Steps:
- 1. Cream butter, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla
- 2. Sift together flour, baking soda and salt
- 3. Add dry ingredients to the creamed mixture
- 4. Stir in rolled oats
- 5. Spread 2/3 of the mixture in a greased jelly roll pan
- 6. Melt the chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk
- 7. Add the butter, salt and vanilla
- 8. Spread over the top of the 1st layer of dough
- 9. Dot on the remaining dough
- 10. Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes

- Preheat the oven to 350°F (176°C). Butter a 9-by-13-inch baking dish or roasting pan and line the bottom with parchment paper. Coat the sides of the dish with flour and tap out any excess.
- In the bowl of an electric mixer, beat the butter, peanut butter, and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs, 1 at a time, followed by the vanilla. Stir in the flour mixture just until combined. The dough will be quite stiff.
- Using your fingertips, gently press about 2/3 of the dough into the dish. Schmear the jam in a thin layer over the dough, and then crumble or dollop the remaining dough on top of the jam. Sprinkle the top with the peanuts, gently pressing them into the dough so they don’t fall off later.

- Crush the Nutter Butter cookies by placing them in a sealed Ziploc bag and hitting them with a meat mallet tenderizer.
- In a medium-sized mixing bowl, add the first set of ingredients with the last item being the brown sugar. Mix to combine.
- Press the cookie base layer into the prepared 9x9 dish. Make sure the layer is even and covers the bottom and corners of the pan. Bake for 15 minutes.
