Steps:
- Preheat oven to 180°C.
- Grease a 20cm x 30cm lamington or slice pan.
- Combine the flour, nutmeg, almond meal, sugar and butter in a medium bowl.
- Press the mixture evenly into the pan to form the slice base.
- Bake in moderate oven for 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
- Remove the slice base from the oven and reduce the oven temperature to 160°C.
- For the topping- combine the egg, sugar and honey in a medium bowl and stir in the melted chocolate.
- Pour the topping over the base. Sprinkle with the slivered almonds.
- Bake for 40 minutes or until the topping has set. Cool in the pan and refrigerate for several hours before cutting.
- This slice will keep up to a week in the refrigerator. Cooking time does not include refrigeration time.

Steps:
- preheat oven to 350 degrees, and lightly grease an 8x8 baking pan.
- chop almonds then gently toast on the stove top.
- combine dry ingredients; seperately mix wet ingredients.
- add wet ingredients to cereal mixture, then add in almonds.
- pour into baking pan and bake for 30-35 minutes. place aluminum foil loosely over top and bake about 5-7 more minutes, depending on flours used (garfava browns faster).
- melt about a tablespoon of almond butter in microwave and dilute slightly with water. drizzle on top.

GLUTEN-FREE BREAKFAST BARS
My family loves cereal bars but I hated making them with marshmallows and corn syrup. I found a recipe (#94905) and "embellished" it a bit. They are a little crumbly but my husband loved them, which was the clincher since he isn't a huge peanut butter fan. I'll be making these again! They are just 5 steps.

Steps:
- 1. Spray 8x8 pan with cooking spray. If you want a thinner bar, use a 9x9 pan.
- 2. In a large saucepan, melt peanut butter and honey over medium heat.
- 3. When melted, turn off heat and add remaining ingredients.
- 4. Stir, and spoon into greased pan.
- 5. Let cool and enjoy!
- *Note: The cocoa powder, sunflower seeds, dried fruit and coconut are optional ingredients and can be removed or replaced with like ingredients. For example, you could try using cashews and dried apricots, etc.
