GLUTEN-FREE CHRISTMAS SUGAR COOKIES

Steps:
- In large bowl, beat granulated sugar, shortening and softened butter with electric mixer on medium speed, scraping bowl often, until creamy. On low speed, beat in vanilla and egg. Stir in flour blend, baking powder and salt until well mixed. Divide dough in half; shape each half into disk. Wrap in plastic wrap; refrigerate about 1 hour or until firm.
- Heat oven to 375°F. On work surface lightly sprinkled with flour blend, roll each half of dough to 1/4-inch thickness. Cut with 2 1/2-inch cookie cutter. Place 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
- Bake 8 to 12 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Let stand 2 minutes on cookie sheet; remove to cooling rack. Cool completely, about 15 minutes. Stir together Glaze ingredients. Spread on cookies. Sprinkle with additional granulated sugar, if desired.

- Measure cereal in large microwaveable bowl. Line a cookie sheet with waxed paper or foil.
- In 2-cup microwavable measuring cup, microwave butter uncovered on High 30 seconds or until melted. Add sugar and corn syrup; microwave uncovered on High 30 seconds until mixture is heated and can be stirred smooth. Stir in vanilla. Pour over cereal, stirring until evenly coated.
- Microwave uncovered on High 2 minutes, stirring after1 minute. Sprinkle with powdered sugar; mix well.
- Spread on waxed paper or foil. Microwave white chocolate on High 30 seconds or until it can be stirred smooth; drizzle over top; sprinkle with edible glitter or colored candies.

- Line large rimmed cookie sheet with waxed paper. In large microwavable bowl, add cereal.
- In small microwavable bowl, microwave butter uncovered on High 20 to 30 seconds or until melted. Stir in granulated sugar; microwave uncovered on High 30 to 40 seconds or until sugar is dissolved. Stir in vanilla. Pour over cereal, stirring until evenly coated.
- Microwave uncovered on High 3 to 4 minutes, stirring after every minute, until thoroughly glazed. Add powdered sugar to bowl, mixing well to coat cereal. Spread mixture on cookie sheet.
- In small microwavable bowl, microwave chips uncovered on Medium (50%) 1 to 2 minutes, stirring after a minute, until melted and smooth. Transfer to small resealable food-storage plastic bag; cut off small corner of bag. Drizzle over snack mix; immediately top with sprinkles.
- Refrigerate 20 to 30 minutes or until drizzle is set. Carefully break into bite-size pieces; transfer to large serving bowl.
