Steps:
- Heat oven to 180C/160C fan/gas 4. Tip the butter and sugar into a large mixing bowl, beat until combined, then stir in the yolks and vanilla. Tip in the flour, baking powder, chocolate chips, a pinch of sea salt and any other fillings you want to add. Mix until a crumbly dough forms.
- Lightly butter a 25cm ovenproof frying pan. Spoon in and flatten the cookie mixture. For a gooey dessert, bake for 20 mins, leave to rest for 5 mins, then scoop straight from the pan and serve with ice cream, if you like. For a firmer cookie you can cut, bake for 30 mins, then leave to cool completely before cutting into wedges.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C). Lightly grease your pizza pan.
- Whisk the flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt together in a medium bowl. Set aside.
- Using a hand mixer or a stand mixer fitted with a paddle attachment, cream the butter and both sugars together on medium speed until smooth, about 2 minutes. Add the egg and beat on high until combined, about 1 minute. Scrape down the sides and bottom of the bowl as needed. Add the vanilla extract, then mix on high until combined.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix on low until combined. With the mixer running on low speed, add the chocolate chips. Dough will be thick and soft.
- Transfer the cookie dough to the pizza pan and flatten out with your fingers or a rubber spatula until the edges reach the sides (or just about to the sides).
- Bake for 22-25 minutes or until puffed and lightly browned on top. If you want the cookie pizza a little crispier on the edges, bake for a couple extra minutes. Allow the cookie pizza to cool on the pan set on a wire rack before slicing. Cover leftovers and store at room temperature for 2-3 days or in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.

Steps:
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly coat a pizza pan with non-stick cooking spray.
- In medium bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, baking soda and salt together. Set bowl aside.
- Cream butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar together on medium speed until well combined (about 2 minutes). Add egg; beat for 1 minute on high. Add vanilla extract, and beat well to combine.
- Add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients. Slowly mix on low until they are fully combined. Stir in the chocolate chips.
- Place the dough onto prepared pizza pan. Use a rubber spatula or your clean fingers to spread and flatten out the thick dough until the dough just about reaches the edges of pan.
- Bake cookie for 22-25 minutes. When done, the cookie should be lightly browned on top. If you want crispy edges on the cookie, let it bake a couple minutes longer. When done, remove pan to a wire rack and let cookie cool (still on the pan).
- Place semi-sweet chocolate chips and white chocolate chips in two separate bowls. Add 1 teaspoon vegetable shortening to each bowl. Microwave each on high for 30 seconds. Stir until smooth. If necessary, heat additional 15 seconds, then stir, until smooth. Do not over cook as the chocolate can burn. Drizzle the chocolate over the cooled cookie in a decorative pattern. Let chocolate firm up on pizza before wrapping as a gift or slicing. For packaging, place cookie on parchment paper (cut to fit) and place cookie "pizza" inside a clean pizza box.

GIANT PIZZA COOKIE
My husband and I were taking care of our two grandsons, Nathan and Brandon, and their mom left the ingredients for this fun dessert. The boys loved pressing the dough into the pan, spreading the frosting and adding the candy "pizza" toppings. They were so proud to serve yummy wedges to their parents when they returned.-Ruth Shefcyk, Lake Orion, Michigan

- Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
- Using a handheld or stand mixer fitted with a paddle or whisk attachment, beat the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together in a large bowl on medium-high speed until combined and creamy. Add beaten egg, vanilla extract, and peanut butter then beat on medium-high speed until combined. Scrape down the sides and up the bottom of the bowl as needed. Beat in the flour, oats, baking soda, and salt on low speed, then beat in the M&Ms and chocolate chips until combined. The dough will be sticky. If it’s too sticky to handle, chill in the refrigerator for 5-10 minutes.
- Shape into a mound in the center of the lined baking sheet. Bake for 20-30 minutes until edges and top are lightly browned. The center will look super soft, but it will set as the cookie cools. If the cookie isn’t spreading as it bakes, remove it from the oven, then gently flatten with a spoon.
- Cool the cookie on the baking sheet for 10 minutes before eating. As it cools, press a few chocolate chips into the top, if desired, for garnish. Cookie freezes well up to 3 months. Thaw at room temperature.
