Yield Makes 6 servings, about 1-1/2 cups each.

Number Of Ingredients 8

Ingredients

2 cups boiling water
1 pkg. (8-serving size) JELL-O Lime Flavor Gelatin
2 cups cold orange juice
1 bottle (1 liter) seltzer, chilled
ice cubes
1 pt. (2 cups) orange sherbet, slightly softened
1 orange, thinly sliced
1 lime, thinly sliced

Steps:

Stir boiling water into dry gelatin in large bowl at least 2 minutes until completely dissolved. Stir in juice. Cool to room temperature.
Pour into punch bowl just before serving. Add seltzer and ice; stir.
Add scoops of sherbet and fruit slices.

Pineapple juice and ginger ale is the key to creating this refreshing green punch that serves 16.

2 cups sugar
2 quarts cold water
2 packages (0.13 oz each) lime-flavored unsweetened soft drink mix
1 can (46 oz) pineapple juice, chilled
1 bottle (1 liter) ginger ale (4 1/4 cups), chilled

Steps:

In large pitcher or punch bowl, stir together sugar and water until sugar is dissolved. Stir in remaining ingredients. Pour into glasses.

Ingredients

Two .13-ounce packets unsweetened lemon-lime drink mix, such as Kool-Aid
2 cups sugar
One 46-ounce can pineapple juice
12 ounces frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed
32 ounces ginger ale

Steps:

Put 2 quarts water in a 1 gallon container. Add the drink mix and sugar and stir until the sugar is dissolved. Add the pineapple juice and lemonade concentrate and stir well. Just before serving, add the ginger ale.

A punch that I made for a kid's Halloween party...they all loved it including the adults.

Ingredients

1 qt lime sherbet
1 can(s) pineapple juice, unsweetened -- 64 oz.
2 l lemon lime soda
ice
1 can(s) frozen, limeade
gummy snakes or worms for spooky effect

Steps:

1. I am not sure of exact amounts as I mix and taste but I do know that I used all the frozen limeade, a whole qt of lime sherbet, about 1/2 can of pineapple juice and then top it with the lemon lime soda.
2. You can make this for any festive holiday that you want some green punch for not just Halloween. St. Patrick's day and Christmas would be fun as well. I added some gummy snakes or worms for a little spooky effect.
