GARLIC PARMESAN BREAD

Garlic Parmesan Bread image

This hearty aromatic bread has just a hint of honey and garlic. It's one of my favorite breads. It goes with anything from bologna sandwiches to spaghetti. -Jami Blunt, Hardy, Arkansas

Time 3h10m

Yield 1 loaf (1-1/2 pounds, 16 slices).

Number Of Ingredients 8

Ingredients

1 cup water (70° to 80°)
2 tablespoons plus 1-1/2 teaspoons butter, softened
1 tablespoon honey
2/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1-1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
3/4 teaspoon salt
3 cups bread flour
2-1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast

Steps:

In bread machine pan, place all ingredients in order suggested by manufacturer. Select basic bread setting. Choose crust color and loaf size if available. Bake according to bread machine directions (check dough after 5 minutes of mixing; add 1 to 2 tablespoons of water or flour if needed). Freeze option: Securely wrap and freeze cooled loaf in foil and place in resealable plastic freezer bag. To use, thaw at room temperature.
