SHRIMPCARGOT
After having these shrimp as an appetizer at a restaurant I have been trying to duplicate them. Serve with bread to mop up the extra yummy garlic butter!

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
- Heat the butter and garlic in a skillet over medium heat until the butter begins to bubble. Stir in the shrimp, and cook until they just turn pink, about 3 minutes. Place one shrimp into each mushroom cap, and place into a small baking dish. Spoon the garlic butter into the mushroom caps, and sprinkle each with a pinch of mozzarella cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven until the mushrooms are tender and the cheese is golden and bubbly, 10 to 15 minutes.

GARLIC BUTTER SHRIMP
Steps:
- Melt butter in a large skillet or wok over medium-low heat. Add shrimp; cook and stir until shrimp turn pink, about 5 minutes. Mix in garlic powder.
- Whisk water and cornstarch together in a bowl to make a slurry. Pour into the skillet and stir until butter sauce thickens, 3 to 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.

ESCARGOT
An easy way to prepare escargot that doesn't require shells. I recommend Roland brand snails. They are sold in a can which is typical for escargot.

Steps:
- Melt butter on low heat in sauté pan.
- When butter is melted add parsley and garlic and let sit over low heat uncovered for 10 to 15 minutes. This allows the butter garlic and herbs to all blend together.
- Pat snails dry and add to butter.
- Increase heat of butter and sauté for 5 minutes stirring constantly. Turn off heat, remove snails from butter and set to side.
- Slice baguette at an angle so you have 12 slices of desired thickness. I recommend 1/2 inch thickness.
- Place the bread one side down in the melted butter that was used to saute snails so that one side of each slice is buttered.
- Place butter on baking sheet and place under broiler for 2-3 minutes or until very lightly toasted.
- Place two snails on each slice of lightly toasted bread and out back under broiler for 2 more minutes. Keep an eye on it to make sure the bread doesn't burn.
- Remove from oven, place on serving platter and enjoy!

GARLIC BUTTER
Sometimes the basics are the best! I've used this simple recipe for years to make garlic bread, and any leftovers go great on barbequed steaks, pasta, rice or potatoes. You can use any butter or margarine you like. Also, fresh or minced garlic in a jar works well. Adjust the amount of garlic to your taste.

- Melt butter in saucepan over low heat and remove from heat.
- Crush garlic in press and add it to melted butter. Cook over medium heat, watching carefully not to let garlic burn, about 3-5 minutes, in a slow simmer. Stir in dried spices. Remove from heat.
- Add salt to taste.
- *If using as a sauce, use to coat and cook in broiler.
- If making bread, use immediately on bread cut on the diagonal into slices or on a bread cut in half lengthwise. Add some olive oil and wrap in foil. Bake at 350 degrees F. about 20 minutes.

GARLIC BUTTER SHRIMP
Easy and delicious. I had this recipe for years, lost it, and just recently found it on the internet. It's the best tasting shrimp I've ever had.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Remove shells from shrimp if they are still on. Pat dry shrimp on paper towels, if they're at all wet, the sauce will be runny.
- Place butter in a large glass baking dish and place in the oven for 5 minutes. Take it out and add salt, garlic, and 1 tbsp of the parsley. Stir it up and then place shrimp on top of this butter mixture in a single layer. Bake this for another 5 minutes, uncovered.
- Remove the dish from oven, turn over each shrimp, sprinkle with the lemon juice and the remaining parsley. Return it to the oven and bake it for an additional 8 minutes.
