Steps:
- Place the water, yeast, and sugar in the bread machine pan. Let yeast dissolve in the pan for 10 minutes. Add oil, flour, salt, garlic powder, and dill weed. Select the setting for Basic or white bread setting. Change loaf size to 1 and 1/2 pound loaf on Light color settings. Press start. For higher altitudes cut the yeast down to 1 tsp. Makes 12 servings.

GLUTEN FREE GARLIC DILL DINNER ROLLS
My mother sent me this as a quest for breads for my sister and mother-in-law. A little tweaking and it's a recipe my family enjoys.

Steps:
- Stir warm water with sugar together in a bowl. Sprinkle yeast packet over water mixture and allow yeast to slightly foam, about 5 minutes.
- Whisk eggs, canola oil, and vinegar together in a bowl until frothy.
- Combine flour, xanthan gum, and salt together in a bowl until evenly mixed. Beat yeast mixture into flour mixture using an electric mixer until evenly combined. Beat egg mixture into flour mixture until just combined; stir in dill and garlic. Beat dough on high until dough holds together and is sticky, at least 4 minutes. Cover bowl with plastic wrap and set aside to slightly rise in a warm area, about 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 10x13-inch baking dish.
- Form dough into 12 large rolls and arrange 3/4-inch apart in the prepared baking dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven rolls are lightly golden, 35 to 45 minutes.

- In a large bowl, whisk the first 8 ingredients. Add buttermilk and cheese; stir just until moistened. Turn onto a lightly floured surface; knead gently 6-8 times or just until dough comes together. Shape dough into a 6-in. round loaf. Using a sharp knife, score surface with 1-in.-deep cuts in a crisscross pattern. Place in a greased 5-qt. slow cooker., Cook, covered, on high 1-1/2 to 2 hours or until a thermometer reads 190°-200°., Preheat broiler. Remove bread; place on a baking sheet. - This makes a two-pound loaf of bread. Use the basic setting with the medium crust option.
- Follow the instructions that came with your bread machine in terms of which ingredients to put in the bread machine first. (With my bread machine, I add the liquid first.)
- Check on the dough after five or ten minutes of kneading. Just pop the top of the bread machine and see how the dough is doing. It should be a smooth, round ball. If needed, you can add a little water or flour.
- When I make this again, I'm going to try adding more dill.

- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Lighty grease and sprinkle corn meal on cookie sheet.
- Combine all ingredients into bread pan.
- select dough setting.
- When dough is finished, remove from bread pan and roll out into sticks sizes of your liking, onto cookie sheets and brush with milk.
- Bake at 400 degrees for 8-12 minute
- or until a light golden brown.
- This can be done by hand also, but you will need to let the dough rise (double in size) and knead it down again and rise again before shaping into bread sticks.

GARLIC AND HERB BREAD

It's very good if made the day before you need it, then split down the middle, buttered, and reheated at mealtime. I use a bread machine, but it can be made without. I like to use the dough cycle, then bake it in a French loaf pan.

GRINKA'S GARLIC DILL BREAD
My Grandma (Grinka!) was an amazing Swede who cooked amazing Italian! LOL Where I grew up if you weren't Swedish, you were Italian, so she must have learned from friends! Anyway, she made this recipe and it was just AMAZING, definitely Italian Garlic Bread, with a Swedish twist (dill) , Everyone RAVES about this... it's the only thing I can serve on Italian night!

Steps:
- soften butter and put in a small bowl, add all ingredients except dill to bowl. mix well. Slather on your favorite loaf of white/whole wheat bread (french, Italian, sliced Italian, sourdough, etc) Usually we get the french bread and slice it in 1/2 length-wise. After butter mix is all over your bread, sprinkle with dill- heavy or light depending on your desire. I usually try to make it an even green color. Bake in a 425 degree oven for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool for 5 min, then cut into 1 1/2 inch slices. Try not to eat a whole loaf yourself! :).
- This mix can be doubled or more depending on how much you need, and will keep in the fridge well, I would say a week -- .
