GAELIC ICED COFFEE



Gaelic Iced Coffee image

Thick and creamy and oh so yummy! I didn't have any green creme de mente so I topped my whipped cream with Hershey's syrup and that worked just fine for me!

3/4 ounce Irish whiskey (Jameson)
3/4 ounce irish cream (Bailey's)
1 1/2 ounces dark Creme de Cacao
2 ounces milk
1 teaspoon instant coffee
whipped cream
green creme de menthe

Steps:

  • In a shaker, combine liqueurs and the instant coffee. Shake like mad to dissolve the coffe crystals.
  • Pour over ice in a tall glass.
  • Top with whipped cream and drizzle creme de menthe on top of the whipped cream.
  • Sip and enjoy!

1/4 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup cold coffee
1 1/2 ounces Irish whiskey ((3 tablespoons))
1/2 ounce simple syrup ((1 tablespoon))

Steps:

  • Whisk cream in medium bowl until thick, but still pourable.
  • Stir coffee, simple syrup, and whiskey together in a highball or Collins glass, using a bar spoon.
  • Fill glass 3/4-full with ice.
  • Place spoon over drink, bottom-side up. Slowly pour cream over spoon to fill glass (you may have a little left over).
  • Add a straw and serve immediately. Enjoy!
