- Beat butter and next 3 ingredients at medium speed with an electric mixer until blended.
- Split rolls horizontally without separating; spread butter mixture evenly over bottom halves. Top with ham, cheese, and remaining halves of rolls.
- Bake at 350° for 15 minutes.
FUNERAL SLIDERS (HOT HAM AND CHEESE SLIDERS)

- Cut entire package of rolls in half horizontally. Place bottom half in a 9x9 ovenproof baking dish. Layer ham and Swiss cheese over bottom half. Replace the top of the rolls.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together dijon mustard, melted butter, onion powder and Worcestershire sauce.Pour sauce over the rolls, just covering the tops. Cover with foil and let sit for 10 minutes.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes or until cheese is melted. Uncover and cook for additional 2 minutes until tops are slightly browned and crisp. Serve warm or at room temperature.

FUNERAL ROLLS (HAM & SWISS BUNS) RECIPE

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan. Arrange rolls in a single layer and place ham and cheese onto each bun. Place tops on buns. In a small bowl melt together the butter and brown sugar. Add Worcestshire sauce and garlic powder and mix well. Pour mixture over buns and refrigerate covered for several hours or overnight. (When I made these I did NOT let them sit and they were still delicious). Bake covered with foil for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for 5 minutes more. Serve warm.

Layer with ham and cheese; replace tops., In a small skillet, heat butter over medium-high heat. Add onion; cook and stir 1-2 minutes or until tender. Stir in remaining ingredients. Pour over rolls. Refrigerate, covered, several hours or overnight., Preheat oven to 350°. Bake, covered, 25 minutes. Bake, uncovered, 5-10 minutes longer or until golden brown.

- Spray 9x13" pan with non-stick spray. Using a serrated knife cut the rolls in half, keeping them in their "slab" form. Remove the "tops" of the rolls and set aside. Gently tear the rolls into four columns.
- Place the ham slices evenly over the bottom of the rolls, then repeat with the cheese. Replace the tops on the rolls, set aside to make the sauce.
- Melt the butter in a saucepan.Once melted, add Worcestershire sauce, mustard and brown sugar. Whisk well, bringing to a simmer for 30 seconds until thickens slightly and bubbly.
- Pour sauce evenly over the rolls, lifting them to allow the sauce to get under the rolls. Spray a piece of foil with non-stick spray and seal rolls tightly, refrigerating for four hours or longer.
