Ingredients:
1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup butter
1 cup cocoa, Fry's
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
1 cup chopped nuts

Steps:

  • 1. Mix all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl. 2. Melt butter in a saucepan. Remove from heat. Stir in Fry's Cocoa. Blend in sugar, eggs, and vanilla. 3. Blend in dry ingredients and chopped nuts. 4. Pour batter into greased 13X9X2 inch pan. Bake at 350F 30 to 35 minutes. Cool and frost.

I made this recipe in my Cuisinart® Air Fryer Oven and my brownies wound up with a crispy and crackly top yet soft and gooey in the center. Air frying the brownies cuts the baking time in half and there's no need to preheat your air fryer oven!

½ cup all-purpose flour
⅛ teaspoon baking powder
⅛ teaspoon salt
1 cup white sugar
½ cup unsalted butter, softened
2 eggs
2 (1 ounce) squares unsweetened baking chocolate, melted
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup coarsely chopped walnuts
1 teaspoon powdered sugar, or to taste

Steps:

  • Grease and flour an 8x8-inch square pan.
  • Sift flour, baking powder, and salt together in a bowl.
  • Beat sugar and butter together in a large bowl with an electric mixer until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs until a smooth batter forms. Beat in chocolate and vanilla extract. Stir in the flour mixture until just incorporated; fold in walnuts. Spread batter into the prepared square pan.
  • Place pan in the air fryer basket. Place on the lowest rack in air fryer oven and cook at 300 degrees F (150 degrees C) until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean, 18 to 25 minutes.
  • Cool completely in the pan, about 30 minutes. Cut into 9 squares and sprinkle with powdered sugar.

1 cup butter
1 cup cocoa
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
ICING:
3 tbsp butter
1/4 cup cocoa
1/4 cup milk
1/2 tsp vanilla
2 cups icing sugar

Steps:

  • Melt butter in saucepan. Add cocoa, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Add flour, baking powder, salt. Mix together. Pour into greased 9x13 baking pan. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. For frosting: Melt butter, add cocoa, milk, vanilla, icing sugar. Add more milk or icing sugar until desired consistency is reached.

3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup confectioners' sugar

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour an 8-inch square pan.
  • In a large saucepan, melt 1/2 cup butter. Remove from heat, and stir in sugar, eggs, and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Beat in 1/3 cup cocoa, 1/2 cup flour, salt, and baking powder. Spread batter into prepared pan.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes. Do not overcook.
  • To Make Frosting: Combine 3 tablespoons softened butter, 3 tablespoons cocoa, honey, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, and 1 cup confectioners' sugar. Stir until smooth. Frost brownies while they are still warm.

1-1/2 cups 60% cacao bittersweet chocolate baking chips, divided
3/4 cup sugar
2 large eggs, room temperature
2 tablespoons water
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt

Steps:

  • Preheat air-fryer to 325°. Line a 6-in. square or round cake pan with parchment, letting ends extend up sides. In a small microwave-safe bowl, melt butter and 1 cup chocolate chips; stir until smooth. Cool slightly. In a small bowl, beat eggs and sugar. Stir in water and vanilla extract. Combine flour, baking soda and salt; gradually add to chocolate mixture. Fold in remaining 1/2 cup chocolate chips., Pour into prepared pan. Bake until a toothpick inserted in center comes out with moist crumbs (do not overbake), 40-45 minutes. Tent with foil as needed to prevent overbrowning.
