FROZEN CUSTARD FRUIT DRINK
I grew up drinking Fruit Drinks from Frozen Custard in my home town. I found the recipe in my Mother in laws recipe box. This does taste very similar to the original recipe. Serve chilled over crushed ice to taste like their drink. Makes a gallon and 1/2.

Steps:
- Let the frozen concentrates set on the counter for 1/2 hour before mixing.
- Mix all ingredients in a big bowl.
- Chill and serve over crushed ice.
- Enjoy.
- Makes a Gallon and 1/2 of drink.

SHAKE, SMOOTHIE... FROZEN FRUIT DRINK
This is something we have all the time. We freeze the fruit in advance so its always on hand. Mmmmm! You can use just regular milk, or the coconut milk. It's not as creamy though. We use whatever fruit we feel like. If your blender can't handle the thickness, use your food processor. NOTE: ALL AMOUNTS ARE GUESSES! Use what looks right.

Steps:
- Put coconut milk in blender, add fruit. Pulse.
- As fruit blends, it will most likely become too thick for your blender to handle, and that's when you add enough milk to keep it going.
- When everything is smooth, add your choice of sweetener. Enjoy your 'fruit ice cream'!

Steps:
- Prepare a medium bowl, set over an ice bath. Have a fine mesh sieve nearby.
- In a medium heavy-bottomed saucepan, off the heat combine the egg yolks and sugar and whisk until smooth. Whisk in the cream and milk. Cook stirring frequently over medium heat, until the custard reaches a temperature of 170 degrees F on an instant-read thermometer.
- Strain the custard into the prepared ice- bath. Stir in the salt and vanilla.
- Stir the custard frequently until it is no longer hot. Refrigerate custard until cold.
- Churn the custard mixture in an ice cream maker following the manufacturer's instructions, until it is the texture of soft serve. Transfer the custard to a freezer-proof container, cover. Freeze until firm enough to scoop, at least two hours.

Steps:
- In a mug, combine custard powder and sugar.
- Add a few tablespoons of the milk until it becomes a paste.
- Boil water, and add, topping off with milk to taste.
- Let it stand for a few minutes, for thickness- you can also serve with a dollop of ice-cream on the top!

HOMEMADE FROZEN CUSTARD
I got this recipe years ago from TOH I think, I could be wrong. It's very delicious and easy to make for that sunny hot afternoon treat.

Steps:
- In a large heavy saucepan, bring milk to a boil.
- Meanwhile, beat eggs; add sugar, cornstarch and salt. Mix well.
- Gradually, add a small amount of hot milk; return all to the saucepan.
- Cook and stir constantly for 6-8 minutes or until mixture thickens and coasts a spoon.
- Gradually stir in condensed milk and vanilla; mix well.
- Chill 3-4 hours.
- Pour into an ice cream freezer.
- Freeze according to manufacturer's directions.
- Yield: about 1-1/2 qts.
