These homemade banana popsicles are made with a few simple and fresh ingredients, and you can make them your own with mix-ins and flavorings.

1 ripe banana
1/2 cup milk
2 tablespoons powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Steps:

  • Gather the ingredients.
  • In a blender or food processor, combine the banana, milk, confectioners' sugar, and vanilla extract.
  • Pour the banana mixture into two popsicle molds .
  • Cover and place the popsicle molds on a rimmed sheet so the popsicles stay level in the freezer. Freeze until set, at least 4 hours. When ready to serve, unmold from the popsicle molds and enjoy.

3/4 cup strawberry yogurt
2 cups Fruity Pebbles cereal
4 medium bananas, peeled and cut crosswise in half
8 wooden pop sticks

Steps:

  • Place yogurt and cereal in separate shallow bowls. Insert pop sticks through cut side of bananas. Dip bananas in yogurt, then roll in cereal to coat. Transfer to waxed paper-lined baking sheets., Freeze until firm, about 1 hour. Transfer to airtight freezer containers; seal containers and return pops to freezer.

1 cup peanuts, finely chopped
3 cups chocolate syrup, dark hard shell

Steps:

  • Peel bananas, cut in half and insert popsicle sticks into each half.
  • Cover each banana in hard chocolate sauce.
  • Roll each banana in chopped peanuts and freeze for 3 hours.

1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
3 tablespoons honey
1/4 cup reduced-fat peanut butter
2 tablespoons fat-free milk
4 medium firm bananas, halved
8 Popsicle sticks
1/3 cup finely chopped nuts

Steps:

  • In a small heavy saucepan, melt chocolate chips and honey over low heat, stirring constantly. Add peanut butter; stir until smooth. Remove from the heat and stir in milk., Peel bananas and insert Popsicle sticks into one end. Spoon chocolate mixture over bananas to coat. Sprinkle with nuts. Place on a waxed paper-lined baking sheet. Freeze for at least 30 minutes. Serve frozen.

4 bananas
8 chopsticks
1 cup light corn syrup
3 cups breakfast cereal (recommended: Fruit Loops, Granola, All-Bran, or anything else you like)

Steps:

  • Cut the bananas in half and skewer them onto chopsticks through the cut end of the banana. Put them onto a cookie sheet lined with waxed paper and freeze for at least 4 hours. Remove them from the freezer and brush them with the corn syrup. Dip them into your favorite cereal, coating them well, wrap them in plastic wrap, put them back onto the cookie sheet and freeze for 4 hours or overnight. Unwrap and enjoy!
