11 ounces mandarin orange sections
6 ounces orange Jello gelatin (2 packages)
2 cups boiling water
1 pint Orange sherbet

Steps:

  • Drain orange, measuring syrup. Add water to syrup to make 1 cup. Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Add measured liquid. Add sherbet by spoonfuls, stirring until melted. Chill until thickened.
  • Fold in oranges, reserving a few for garnish. Pour into a serving bowl or individual serving dishes. Chill until set-at least 1 hour. Garnish with reserved mandarin orange sections and mint leaves, if desired.

1 6oz. Pkg. Orange Jello
2 Cups boiling water
1 Can (11 oz.) mardarin oranges
1 Pint orange sherbet, softened

Steps:

  • Dissolve jello in boiling water. Drain oranges, measuring syrup; add water to make one cup. Add to gelatin. Chill until slightly thickened. Blend in sherbet and mandarin oranges. Pour into a 1 qt. mold. Chill until firm. Unmold.
