FROSTED PEANUT BUTTER BARS RECIPE

Steps:
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F and grease a 13-inch baking tin or casserole.
- Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt then set it aside.
- In a large bowl, mix together sugar and butter.
- Add in eggs, crunchy peanut butter, and vanilla. Continue creaming.
- Fold in the sifted flour mixture into the peanut butter mixture until evenly incorporated.
- Transfer the mixture into your greased baking tin or casserole.
- Bake for 30 minutes, or until a cake tester comes out clean. Set aside onto a cooling rack and allow to cool down completely.
- Combine all ingredients together and beat until smooth and the sugar has dissolved.
- Spread on top of cooled peanut butter bars. Cut into equal pieces and serve along with your favorite hot drink or ice cream!

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, sugar and brown sugar.
- Add the eggs, vanilla, and peanut butter and mix well.
- In a separate bowl mix together the dry ingredients. Add dry ingredients to creamy mixture.
- Press firmly into a greased 9x13'' pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 17-21 minutes. Do not over-bake! They will look just barely set in the center, and they will harden as they cool. Allow to cool completely.
- Once cooled, spread a thin layer of peanut butter over the bars.

- Cream the first 6 ingredients.
- Add the final 4 mixing well.
- Spread on large greased cookie sheet.
- Bake at 350° for 25 minutes.
- Meanwhile, combine all frosting ingredients (will be fairly stiff), mix well and spread on slightly warm cookies. Cut and serve.

- 1. For the bars: Preheat oven to 350 Degrees, Grease and flour a 9x13 pan (I only had a 9x11 so I used that). Melt butter and peanut butter together over hot water. (I put it in a pan and on simmer it was fast and easy)
- 2. Pour into remaining ingredients and stir well. Pour into greased and floured pan and bake 25-30 minutes. (I did 35 as mine was in a smaller pan.) Cook and cut into squares.
- 3. NOTE: Besides the things I stated above at the 30 minute mark I took them out of the oven and topped with the frosting and returned it to the oven 5-10 minutes more. For the frosting just mix all together adding enough water to make a regular icing and frost the hot bars. The frosting will be thin and melty at this point. Return to oven 5-10 minutes until it bubbles or looks really hot and remove and cool. cut and serve

- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Spray the bottom and sides of a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.

- Pour the rice cereal and chopped peanuts (if using) in a large bowl; set aside.
- In a heavy-bottomed saucepan combine the light corn syrup and white sugar; bring to a boil; continue to boil for 1 minute.
- Reduce heat to low and stir in butter or margarine, peanut butter and vanilla until melted and smooth.
- Add in mini marshmallows and stir until blended.
- Pour the marshmallow mixture into the rice cereal and stir with a wooden spoon until well combined.
