FRITO BARS
Crunchy, salty, sweet, chocolatey -- the perfect dessert has it all, just like in my Frito Bars recipe! The whole dish whips together in 15 minutes.

Steps:
- Generously grease with butter on the bottom and sides of a 9X13 inch baking dish.
- Evenly spread 1 package of Fritos on the bottom of the baking dish. Sprinkle 1 cup of semi-sweet cholate chips over Fritos.
- In a heavy bottom saucepan, add sugar (1 1/2 cups) and corn syrup (1 1/2 cups). Bring to a roiling boil. Cook for 1 minute then remove from heat and stir in peanut butter (1 1/2 cups). Drizzle half of the sugar mixture over the Frito layer.
- Spread the second package of Fritos over the sugar layer then sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of semi-sweet cholate chips over Fritos. Drizzle the remaining sugar mixture over the second Frito layer. Refrigerate until firm and set. Cut into bars and serve.

FUNKY FRITO FRUCKIES
Anytime I can find a mixture of salt and chocolate, I jump on it. These cookies/candies are rich but wonderful. If you are not a big fan of chocolate, or want these a little less sweet, leave the chocolate off.

- In a greased 10 x 15 inch pan, place the corn chips.
- In a saucepan, bring the sugar and corn syrup to a boil over medium heat. Remove from heat and stir in the peanut butter until smooth. Pour this over the chip and smooth level.
- Pour this over the chip and smooth level. Place the chocolate bars in a single layer over the hot mixture and wait a few minutes until the heat melts them and then smooth the chocolate out to form a thin layer. Allow to cool and then break into pieces.

FUNKY FRITO BARS RECIPE

- Pour Fritos corn chips into a lightly-greased 10 X 15″ pan.
- Spread the Fritos evenly.
- In a medium saucepan at medium heat, bring sugar and light corn syrup to a boil.
- Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter.
- Pour the mixture over corn chips and spread evenly.
- Place chocolate chips over the hot mixture and allow several minutes to melt.
- Once chocolate has melted, smooth evenly. Let cool before breaking into pieces.
- Serve to grateful friends and family. Enjoy!
FRITOS BARS

Steps:
- Lightly spray a 13 x 9 inch baking dish with cooking spray.
- Pour Fritos corn chips into a large mixing bowl and set aside.
- Combine corn syrup and sugar in a medium saucepan and heat until boiling.
- Boil for exactly 1 minute only.
- Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter until smooth.
- Pour over chips and toss to coat.
- Pour corn chip mixture into the greased pan and press to form an even layer.
- Pour chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl and microwave on high for 30 seconds and stir, then for 30 seconds more until just melted. Stir until smooth.
- Pour melted chocolate into a zip top bag, press most of the air out and seal.
- Cut off a small top of a corner of the bag and drizzle over the Fritos bars.
- Allow to set (refrigerate to speed up the process).
- Cut into squares and serve.
FRITO BARS
I found this recipe online and was not sure about it. Tried it for a bake sale and now I have to make then all the time. EVERYONE loves them.

- 1. Slightly break up the Fritos in the bag and put them in a 9X13 pan. Heat sugar and Karo in a saucepan and cook until warm and sugar is disolved but don't boil. Take off heat and stir in peanut butter and pour evenly over Fritos. Sprinkle chocolate chips over the top and let them soften. Let stand over night or if you can't wait, put them in the fridge for about 15 minutes and cut in squares.

- Spread 1 package of corn chips on the bottom of a greased 13x9-in. baking pan; sprinkle with 1 cup chocolate chips., In a large heavy saucepan, combine sugar and corn syrup.
