- In a large bowl, combine instant tea, lemonade powder, orange drink mix, cinnamon and clove. Mix well and store in an airtight container.
- To serve, Put 2 to 3 teaspoons of mix in a mug. Stir in 1 cup of boiling water. Adjust to taste.

This Friendship Tea recipe is a homemade spiced tea mix that's made by combining instant tea, Tang, powdered lemonade and a few spices. To make hot cup of spiced tea, simply stir some Friendship Tea powder into a cup of boiling water.

- Combine instant tea, Tang mix, lemonade powder (such as Country Time), and spices in a bowl, plastic bag or other container.
- Pour the spiced tea mix into a blender or food processor and blend until the tea mix becomes a fine powder. This step is optional, however, it's recommended.
- Store the spiced tea mix in a 16 ounce mason jar or other sealed container. Double the recipe to fill a 32 ounce mason jar.
- To serve, combine 2-3 teaspoons of friendship tea mix and 8 ounces boiling water. Adjust according to taste.
- Stir and enjoy

- 1. Combine these dry ingredients and store in an airtight container. This recipe makes 50 servings so it is perfect for dividing up and giving away as gifts. Put these directions on the gift jar: FRIENDSHIP TEA Use 1 1/2 tablespoons per cup of boiling water.
RUSSIAN FRIENDSHIP TEA MIX
This is a delicious orangey tea that just smells wonderful! I portion out some of the mix in little holiday ziploc baggies to give as gifts at the holidays. I am always surprised how many people have never had this tea. I have used this recipe for 8 years and have had many positive comments. A nice way to present this tea is to fill a zip-plastic baggie with some of the tea mix and place in a gift mug. This is an instant version of the real Russian tea, which is more like a hot fruity tea punch. Imagine a warm, sweet spiced apple cider, only with a citrusy/orange taste instead. This will not taste like a brewed black tea. The lemonade mix called for is one tiny packet, enough to make a 2 quart size pitcher (although you only use the mix dry). If you are subbing in sugar-free versions of any ingredients (which do work just fine) be aware that they will weigh less than anything made with sugar, so measuring by volume (such as US type cups and spoons) is key here if you are converting the recipe.

- 1. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl. Sometimes, I have to put it through a sifter to get it all blended without lumps. you can also blend this in a blender to make it smooth.
- 2. Store in an airtight container in a cool dry place.
- 3. To prepare one cup tea: dissolve 4-1/2 teaspoons tea mix in 1 cup hot boiling water. Stir well.
SPICY FRIENDSHIP TEA MIX
Great tea for a cold winter night. Nice smelling. Very good for giving as gifts. I give it to family every year. I'm not 100% sure in prep time but its not long. Also I used a food processor and it mixed it very well. When serving you may need to add water if you don't like strong drinks.
