FRIED BANANA
This is not really a recipe. My grandmother used to prepare this for me when I was little, and I loved it! This is not dairy free suitable, you have to use butter because that's what makes the unique flavor.

Steps:
- Peel banana and cut in half lengthwise.
- Heat butter in a non stick skillet until slightly bubbly but not brown.
- Place banana halves in the hot butter and fry for about two minutes, then carefully turn and fry other side for about two minutes, too.
- The banana halves should be slightly browned, so fry a little longer if they aren't browned after those 2x2 minutes.
- Serve hot, sprinkle with some cinnamon if you wish (I never did).

Steps:
- Remove the peels from the bananas and slice them 1/2" inch thick.
- Set a nonstick skillet over medium to medium high heat** and add the oil or butter, honey, cinnamon, and salt. Stir to combine.
- Add the banana slices, and fry for 2-3 minutes on each side, until golden and caramelized. Be sure to watch the heat and turn it down if it browns too quickly. You want enough heat to caramelize and brown the slices, but you don't want them to burn.
- Once the bananas are cooked you can enjoy them as is, or with marshmallow creme and peanut butter in a sandwich, with Bananas Foster French Toast, in oatmeal or yogurt, over ice cream, and more. Enjoy!

HOW TO MAKE FRIED BANANAS - EASY
From food.onehowto.com

- Before beginning this quick recipe, you should be aware that you can make fried bananas on their own or prepare them with honey to bring out their sweet taste even more. Both instructions are given here for you to choose the variety that you most like.
- Before starting, prepare the oil for frying in a pan. Do not skimp on it by merely placing a few drops in, because you need to be able to fry them. So, cover all your pan with the oil. Next, place the pan on the hob over a medium heat and leave it to heat up. If you don't normally cook with oil, you can use butter.
- Whilst the pan is heating on the hob, peel the bananas with a peeler and slice them up. You can chop them into slices, although we recommend you chop them into vertical slices of a centimetre or so in thickness. In this way, you will ensure that the banana does not disintegrate and stays firm when frying.
- When the heat is hot, add the pieces of banana to the pan. Leave them in the oil until they are golden brown. Remember to turn them over so that they fry on both sides. When the bananas are slightly brown on both sides it means they are ready. Now just take them out of the pan and place them in a sheet of kitchen paper, to absorb the excess oil. After this they're ready to consume.

- Heat the oil to 350ºF (180ºC) in a deep-fry machine or heavy-bottom saucepan over medium heat. While oil is heating, peel the bananas, remove the stringy parts that cling to the peeled fruit, and cut crosswise in half.
- Place the flour, eggs, and bread crumbs each in a separate bowl. Dredge the banana halves in flour to get an even coating. Shake to remove excess flour. Next, soak the banana halves in the beaten eggs mixed with 1 tsp water. Finally, cover the banana halves in bread crumbs.
- Fry each half until lightly golden (do NOT overcrowd the pan), about 1 to 2 minutes. Remove with a slotted spoon. Place on a plate lined with a double layer of paper towels.
