FRESH STRAWBERRY MARTINI
I have combined two of my favorite things to invent this tasty martini. I have tinkered with it a bit now and i'm quite satisfied with my creation. I hope you enjoy this too! The trick to selecting strawberries is to pick the darkest red strawberries you can. The darker red, the sweeter they seem to be. Only the deepest red strawberries will truly do this justice!

Steps:
- Prep martini glasses by either putting them in the freezer to frost or rimming them with sugar.
- To rim a glass with sugar slice a very ripe, or over ripe strawberry 1/2 way through and gently wipe it around the edges of the glass so the juice just barely coats it.
- Now turn it upside down into a shallow dish filled with sugar.
- In a shaker put clean, hulled strawberries in bottom and mash with a wooden spoon until they are very well smashed.
- Add fresh Ice to fill the shaker and add the vodka, strawberry syrup and about 1 tsp sugar or more depending on your sweet tooth.
- Shake for about 20 seconds until well mixed.
- Now pour into the prepped glasses, garnish and serve!

- Strawberry Daiquiri. The strawberry daiquiri is the best-known cocktail of the lot and among the most-loved. Rum is a fabulous pairing for strawberries, and the recipe marries those flavors with simple syrup and lime juice.
- Strawberry Margarita. Equally irresistible, the strawberry margarita is another summertime favorite. It also uses many of the same ingredients, so you can swap between margaritas and daiquiris with ease.
- Strawberry Mojito. What would summer be without a few mojitos? It gets even better when fresh strawberries are at their peak! The delicious strawberry mojito is easy to mix up, simply adding strawberries to the minty-lime muddle.
- Strawberry Martini. Crème de fraises is one of your strawberry liqueur options. Like all crème liqueurs, it has more sugar than most, making it a perfectly sweet base for a flavor like strawberry.
- Strawberry Vodka Lemonade. Strawberry lemonade is great, and vodka-spiked strawberry lemonade is even more enjoyable. For this recipe, you'll muddle a few strawberries, then top it with a shot of vodka and lemonade.
- Strawberry Gin & Tonic. Strawberry syrup is a great ingredient to stock in your summer bar, and it's very easy to make at home. When you add it to a cocktail like the gin and tonic, the drink instantly goes from dry to delicious.
- Kentucky Kiss Cocktail. As you'll found out with the first taste of the Kentucky kiss cocktail, bourbon pairs perfectly with strawberries. Like many, the drink begins with a strawberry muddle, but this time it includes maple syrup and lemon juice.
- Cherub's Cup. Strawberries are natural aphrodisiacs, and a cocktail like the cherub's cup is ideal for a romantic occasion. The vodka strawberry cocktail is accented with elderflower liqueur for a sweet, floral touch.
- Orchard Catch Cooler. Basil is one of the best herbs to pair with strawberries, and you'll see it often if you browse enough cocktail recipes. The orchard catch cooler puts the duo to good use to create a casual, tall, and refreshing drink.
- Sparkling Strawberry Rosé. In the sparkling strawberry rosé, strawberry and basil come together again but in completely different forms. The recipe relies on strawberry vodka and basil simple syrup.
