Fresh Strawberries with Brown Sugar Cinnamon Dip image

Fresh berries are the perfect light dessert - made even more special with this quick, flavorful dip. Serve the berries separately so that each person can dip their own berries in yogurt then the brown sugar cinnamon blend. Try also with banana or apple slices.. 2 packages (16 ounces each) fresh strawberries
1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp McCormick® Cinnamon, Ground
1/2 cup plain nonfat Greek-style yogurt
1/4 tsp McCormick® Pure Vanilla Extract

Steps:

  • Wash and gently pat dry strawberries. Place on serving dish.
  • Mix brown sugar and cinnamon in small bowl. Spoon yogurt into another small bowl. Stir in vanilla. Dip berries in yogurt, then in brown sugar/cinnamon mixture. Serve immediately.

1/2 cup sour cream
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon brandy or 1 tablespoon vanilla
1/2 cup heavy cream
3 tablespoons sugar
4 cups fresh strawberries

Steps:

  • Mix sour cream, brown sugar and Brandy in a bowl.
  • In a separate bowl, whip cream until starts to thicken and add sugar--whip until thick.
  • Fold cream into sour cream mixture and blend well.
  • Serve with fresh strawberries.
