Steps:
- Pour the warm water into a large bowl, and whisk in 4 teaspoons of bread flour, the yeast, and the white sugar until thoroughly combined and the sugar has dissolved. Allow to stand until the yeast starts to form creamy bubbles, about 5 minutes.
- Fit a dough blade into a large food processor, and place 3 1/2 cups of bread flour, the oats, whole wheat flour, salt, brown sugar, and vegetable oil into the work bowl. Start the food processor running, and slowly add enough of the water-yeast mixture to allow the dough to form a firm ball and pull away from the sides of the processor, about 1 minute. Process for another 30 seconds to knead.
- Place the dough into an oiled bowl, and turn to coat the dough with oil. Cover with a damp cloth, and allow the dough to rise until doubled, about 1 hour. Punch down the dough, and divide into 2 equal-sized pieces. Form each piece into a loaf; pinch the seams and ends closed.
- Grease 2 4x8-inch loaf pans, and place the loaves into the pans with the seam sides down. Allow to rise until the dough is 1 inch above the rim of the pans, about 1 more hour.
- While dough is rising, preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Bake in the preheated oven until the tops are browned, about 35 minutes. Allow bread to cool in pans for 10 minutes, then turn out onto cooling racks to finish cooling.

VERY BEST BANANA LOAF
This banana bread is, without a doubt, one of the very best I have ever made. The loaves have a very nice deep color and a beautiful crumb. The secret is not the unusual liquid ingredient, the secret is slow baking. Oil makes this recipe parve, (thanks Mirj for explaining this to me & Chia and Miraklegirl for your help too).

MOIST BANANA NUT BREAD
I got this from a recipe club I was in.It is the only banana bread my family will let me make.We prefer it without nuts, but it is great with chopped pecans for the nut lovers. It is very moist.I keep over-ripe bananas in the freezer,so I can make it at a moments notice. It is a great after-school snack, but it never lasts long at our house!

STARBUCKS BANANA BREAD RECIPE
Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease a 9x5x3-inch loaf pan and coat with flour.
- In a medium bowl, sift and combine flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In a large bowl, stir together egg, sugar, and vegetable oil until incorporated.
- Stir the flour mixture into the egg mixture. Pour in the buttermilk, vanilla, and bananas. Mix until combined. Gently stir in 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts.
- Pour batter into the greased and floured loaf pan. Sprinkle the remaining 1/3 cup of walnuts on top.
- Bake for 45 to 60 minutes. To check for doneness, stick a toothpick into the center of the bread. If it comes out clean or there are a few moist bits sticking to it, it's done baking.
- Cool in the loaf pan for 10 minutes. Remove the bread from the pan and let it cool completely on a wire rack. Slice and enjoy!
