- Combine sugar, milk, butter and salt in a medium sized saucepan. Bring to a boil, cook 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Add in chocolate chips; cook until melted.
- Remove from heat; stir in marshmallows, vanilla and nuts. Mix well.
- Pour into a 8-inch pan. Cool cut into squares.
FABULOUS FIVE-MINUTE FUDGE

- Line a cookie sheet with parchment or waxed paper; set aside. In a medium microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate pieces, sweetened condensed milk, and water.
- Microwave, uncovered, on 100% power (high) for 1 minute; stir. Microwave about 1 minute more, or until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth, stirring every 30 seconds. Stir in nuts and vanilla. Pour mixture onto prepared cookie sheet and spread it into a 9x6-inch rectangle, or drop mixture by rounded teaspoons onto prepared cookie sheet.
- Chill fudge about 30 minutes or until firm. Cut fudge into 1-1/2-inch squares. Makes 24 pieces

FIVE-MINUTE FUDGE WREATH

- Place a heavy pot on the stove and preheat it over low heat. Add chips and milk and stir until chips are melted and milk combined. Save the empty condensed milk can. Stir in vanilla and remove fudge from heat. Add nuts and currants and stir in immediately.
- Cover empty condensed milk can with plastic food wrap and center it in the greased cake pan. Spoon fudge into pan around can, making sure to recenter can if it drifts.
- The fudge will set up almost immediately. Garnish can only be added in the first minute or 2 the fudge is in the pan, so work quickly. Decorate your wreath with "holly" made from cut candied red and green cherries. A wreath left plain can be garnished with a pretty fabric bow when serving. Chill covered in the refrigerator and slice fudge very thin when ready to serve, a little goes a long way.

- Mix milk, sugar and salt in a heavy saucepan, over med-high heat.
- Heat to boiling.
- Cook 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat, and add other ingredients.
- Stir until marshmallows are all melted.
- Pour into buttered 9" square pan.
- Cool and cut into squares.
5 MINUTE FUDGE
This smooth and decadent 5 minute fudge is studded with pillowy marshmallows and crunchy bits of nuts. It is surprisingly simple to make thanks to the microwave and sweetened condensed milk - no babysitting bubblingfudge on the stove at all!

- Line a 9 x13 inch pan with parchment paper or greased aluminum foil.
- Place the chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk in a microwave safe bowl and heat for 1 minute. Stir until mixture is smooth and all the chocolate chip bits are melted. If there are still some chips remaining after stirring, microwave in 30 second intervals - stirring in between until they are smooth. Stir in the vanilla, marshmallows, and walnuts
- Using a large spoon, spoon out the fudge in large dollops into the parchment or foil lined pan. Press down to form an even layer. Refrigerate.
- When ready to serve, pull the fudge out of the pan by lifting up on the sides ofthe parchement or foil. Slice into squares.

- Combine milk & sugar in sauce pan.
- Heat to boiling on low flame.
- Cook 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Remove pan from heat.
- Add marshmallows, chips, vanilla and optional nuts.
- Stir fudge with wooden spoon until all are melted (about 1 minute).
- Pour into greased 8" square pan.
- Cool until set.
- Cut and serve!

Steps:
- Combine the chocolate, the milk, and the butter in a medium size glass bowl and heat in the microwave for 90 seconds. Stir to combine and heat another 15 seconds if needed.
- Add the extract and stir until smooth. Stir in 1 cup of pecans. Scoop into a parchment lined loaf pan. Spread with a spatula to approximately 1-inch thickness. Top with remaining chopped pecans. Chill until ready to serve. Slice into 1-inch squares and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. Enjoy!
- NOTE:.
- If you aren't a fan of the microwave, you can easily melt the chocolate, milk and butter in a double boiler on the stove top.
