FAUX TEXAS TWISTER

Steps:

• Wash all of the fruit, with peels still on.
• Juice 5 of the oranges, 5 of the lemons and 5 of the limes; pour juices into a blender with grenadine, cherry syrup, and sugar. Blend on high for about 30 seconds.
• Place the ice in a large pitcher and pour the Sprite and the juice mixture over the ice and stir. Cut the remaining fruits in half and then cut each half into 6 wedges. Place 1 wedge of each cirtrus plus a maraschino cherry in the bottom of 12 glasses. Pour punch over fruit and serve.

TEXAS TWISTER

Steps:

• 1. Put the tomato juice and worcestershire sauce into a food processor and process gently until combined. Add the chopped chile, scallions, and ice cubes and process until smooth.
• 2. Pour the mixture into glasses and garnish with chili flowers. Add straws and serve.
• 3. To make the chile flowers, use a sharp knife to make six cuts along each chile. Place the point of the knife about 1/2 inch from the stem end ans cut toward the tip. Put the chiles in a bowl of ice water and let stand for 25 -30 minutes until they have spread out into flower shapes.
