SWEET BABY RAYS FAUX BBQ SAUCE
I had originally gotten the bases from a guy on here, but did a little research and as well some science in my kitchen and after a couple explosions I've finally critiqued and finalized what is told to be the best BBQ sauce!

Steps:
- Whisk all the ingredients in a medium sauce pan over medium heat. Once everything is mixed bring that pan to a boil. Once you have reached a consistent boil reduce heat & simmer for 5 mins or until the sugar is dissolved.
- For a thicker sauce add the corn starch & water. Now from my experience with testing this out I've noticed the longer you boil after adding the corn starch and water the thicker it will get! You don't have to keep adding more cornstarch and water unless you fancy that! Once added bring to a boil and after a consistent boil simmer up to 15 mins or until desired thickness. Note while cooling the sauce thickens as well.
- Serve Immediately, or cover and store in fridge. Note that there aren't any preservatives to help prolong the sauce so you can bottle it package it and put in the freezer, and when you want to use it at a latter time or day just simply remove and thaw in your fridge!

FAUX SWEET BABY RAY'S BBQ SAUCE
I was recently asked by someone if I had a recipe for a clone of Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce. He was unable to find it locally. I haven't made/tried it, but it looks like it might be close. Not sure if it'll give the same dark color as the original. Also included here is a Rub recipe this is supposed to be secret...Hmmmmm? Haven't made it either, but ingredients look right.

Steps:
- Mix all the sauce ingredients in a non-reactive sauce pan and simmer for 20~30min. Let cool and into your fridge for at least a day.
- Mix all the ingredients together and store in an air tight container until needed. **If you are going to use this on ribs, chicken, pork, etc. try seasoning the meat with the actual dry rub before cooking then slather on the sauce.
SWEET BABY RAY'S BARBECUE SAUCE (COPYCAT)
A copycat of the famous Sweet Baby Ray's Barbecue Sauce. In my experience there is little to no need for the cornstarch slurry, but it's there as an optional step in case you want your sauce thick. Personally I just use a little of the slurry because the 10-15 minutes simmering time would already reduce the sauce and it would continue to thicken while cooling.
