Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Grease and flour bottom and sides of skillet with shortening and flour, tap out excess flour.
- Prepare cake mix according to package directions.
- Gently pour batter over bottom of skillet, spreading evenly.
- Bake, uncovered, 30-35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
- Carefully, remove skillet; cool cake.
- Loosen edges of cake and carefully invert onto platter.
- Place chocolate and half of the icecream topping in microwave; cook on high 30-60 seconds or until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth.
- Spread caramel mixture over cake.
- Sprinkle pecans over cake.
- Drizzle with remaining ice cream topping.
- Let stand until topping is set.
- Cut into wedges.
- May serve with ice cream.

- Grease an 11 x 7 pan; set aside.
- Melt chips in medium saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly. Stir in bittersweet chocolate until melted. Stir in sweetened condensed milk and salt until smooth. Spread evenly in prepared pan; cover with foil. Refrigerate until firm.
- Cut fudge into 40 squares. Transfer to baking sheet lined with waxed paper, placing squares 1/2 inch apart.
- Place caramels and water in small saucepan. Heat over low heat until melted, stirring frequently. Drizzle top of fudge pieces with caramel mixture. Top each piece with 1 pecan half.
- Store in airtight container in refrigerator.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease one 9x13 inch pan.
- Mix cake mix according to package directions. Pour a little less than half of the batter into prepared pan and bake for 15 minutes at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) remove from oven.
- Melt caramels, margarine, and milk in the microwave on high (takes about 10 minutes), stirring a couple times. Or alternately melt in a sauce pan over medium low heat. Pour melted caramel mixture over cake, sprinkle with pecans, and chocolate chips, and pour remaining cake batter over the top.
- Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 20 to 35 minutes.

- 1. You will need a 12" non-stick oven proof skillet or a 9 x 13 pa. . Preheat oven to 350. Melt 1 Tbsp. butter in the skillet on the stove top, spreading around.
- 2. Mix cake mix, milk, eggs and 1/3 cup melted butter with a hand or standing mixer until smooth. Pour into your pan, spreading evenly. These pans are good at distributing heat so you do not get a domed cake.
- 3. Bake about 30 minutes, testing with a straw to see if done. Let cool 5 minutes, then carefully turn out onto a large platter.
- 4. Put the chocolate and half the caramel sauce in a microwave safe dish and heat for 30-45 seconds, stirring until smooth. (or use small saucepan on stove)
- 5. Pour sauce over cooled cake, smoothing out to edges so it will drip over. Add the chopped nuts . If you want to drizzle the rest of the caramel sauce over the whole thing. Now take a picture because it is beautiful and yummy!

- Line 15x10x1-inch baking pan with foil, extending foil over sides of pan; grease foil. In Dutch oven or 4-quart saucepan, combine sugar, butter and evaporated milk; cook over medium heat until sugar is dissolved, stirring frequently. Bring to a full boil, stirring constantly. Without stirring, boil 5 to 6 minutes over medium heat or until candy thermometer registers 234°F. Remove saucepan from heat.
- Add marshmallows, chocolate chips, sweet chocolate and unsweetened chocolate; stir until all chocolate is melted. Stir in vanilla and 1/2 cup of the pecans. Quickly spread mixture in greased foil-lined pan.
- In medium saucepan, cook caramels and water over low heat until melted, stirring frequently. Drizzle melted caramels evenly over fudge. Sprinkle remaining pecans over caramel. Cool 2 hours.
- Use foil to lift fudge from pan; remove foil. Cut into 1-inch squares.
