Number Of Ingredients 13

1/4 cup canola oil
1 onion
3 garlic cloves
1/2-1 inch ginger
3 -4 steaks (pieces of steak, cut thin)
2 teaspoons red pepper flakes
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1/2 lime
7 ounces water
1/2 cup peanuts
1 teaspoon cumin seed
1/8 teaspoon asafoetida powder
1 pinch turmeric

Steps:

  • Heat oil in a wok or pan.
  • Make a paste or the onion, garlic and ginger. Then brown them in the pan.
  • Add the peanuts and cumin then wait untill it is brown.
  • After that, stir the steak inches Add the red pepper, tumeric, asafetida, (tumeric and asafetida are optional), soy sauce, lime and waterl.
  • When the steak is done, serve over rice or noodle.
  • You can garnish on the side with cilantro or green onions.
