2 ounces white rum (Matusalem Platino, Appleton White or Brugal White are all fine choices)
1 ounce fresh lime juice
1 ounce fresh pink grapefruit juice
3/4 ounce maraschino liqueur
1 teaspoon superfine sugar, optional

Steps:

  • The original was made in a blender with crushed ice, but shaken and strained into a chilled cocktail glass works nicely. Garnish with a wheel of lime.
