1 onion, chopped
1 Tbsp. chili powder
1 can (14-1/2 oz.) diced tomatoes, undrained
1 pkg. (10 oz.) frozen corn, thawed, drained
6 whole wheat tortillas (6 inch)
1 cup KRAFT Mexican Style 2% Milk Finely Shredded Four Cheese, divided
1/4 cup BREAKSTONE'S Reduced Fat or KNUDSEN Light Sour Cream

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 375ºF.
  • Brown meat with onions and chili powder in large skillet on medium-high heat. Add tomatoes and corn; cook 5 min. or until heated through, stirring occasionally.
  • Spoon 1 cup meat mixture into 2-qt. round casserole; cover with 3 tortillas, overlapping if necessary to fit in dish. Top with 2 cups of the remaining meat mixture and 1/2 cup cheese. Cover with remaining tortillas and remaining meat mixture; cover.
  • Bake 25 to 30 min. or until heated through. Top with remaining cheese; bake, uncovered, 5 min. or until melted. Cut into wedges. Serve topped with sour cream.

1 pound ground beef
1 large onion, chopped
1/2 cup salsa
2 tablespoons taco seasoning
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 large eggs
1 cup whole milk
1/2 cup biscuit/baking mix

Steps:

  • In a large skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Stir in the salsa, taco seasoning and pepper. Transfer to a greased 9-in. pie plate; sprinkle with cheese., In a large bowl, combine the eggs, milk and biscuit mix just until combined; pour over cheese. Bake at 400° until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean, 25-30 minutes.

1 (8 ounce) package refrigerated crescent rolls
1 pound ground beef
1 (1 ounce) package taco seasoning mix
1 (16 ounce) container sour cream
8 ounces shredded Mexican-style cheese blend
1 (14 ounce) bag tortilla chips, crushed

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Lay crescent dough flat on the bottom of a square cake pan and bake according to package directions.
  • Meanwhile, brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add the taco seasoning and stir together well. When dough is done, remove from oven and place meat mixture on top, then layer with sour cream and cheese, and then top off with the crushed nacho chips.
  • Return to oven and bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 10 minutes, or until cheese has melted.

¼ cup butter, chopped
3 slices american cheese
1 cup flour
¼ teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons water
1 lb ground beef
½ cup onion, chopped
½ cup salsa
1 refried bean
1 taco seasoning
6 slices american cheese
1 cup shredded lettuce
1 tomato, chopped
sour cream
shredded cheese

Steps:

  • Combine crust ingredients except water in food processor bowl.
  • Pulse until the mixture creates coarse crumbles. Add water, one tablespoon at a time, until the dough forms a ball.
  • Roll out dough on a lightly floured surface. Place into 9-inch (22cm) pie plate, and trim the sides.
  • Bake at 400°F/204°C for 10-15 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
  • Cook onions and beef in a medium skillet until beef is browned and cooked through. Drain if watery.
  • Return beef to skillet, add salsa, and taco seasoning. Cook until bubbly.
  • Pour into baked crust. Top with refried beans, and cheese.
  • Bake 3 minutes or until cheese is melted.
  • Let cool. Top with lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream and more cheese!
  • Enjoy!

1 pound ground beef
1 package taco seasoning
1/2 cup water
1/3 cup pimiento-stuffed olives, sliced
1 tube (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent rolls
1-1/2 cups corn chips, crushed, divided
1 cup sour cream
3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded lettuce
2 medium tomatoes, seeded and chopped

Steps:

  • In a skillet, cook beef over medium heat until no longer pink; drain. Add the taco seasoning, water and olives. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 5 minutes., Separate crescent dough into eight triangles and place in a 9-in. deep-dish pie plate with points toward the center. Press onto the bottom and up the sides of pan to form crust; seal perforations. Sprinkle half the corn chips over crust. Spoon beef mixture over chips. Spread sour cream over beef. This is a pretty simple Taco Pie recipe... tastes great as listed using refrigerated cresent rolls, but you could also you a pre-made pie shell as well. You can play around with ingredients to your liking as well. I have used rinsed & drained black beans, drained whole kernal corn, etc. This is fantastic served alongside some homemade guacamole and Recipe #313521 - perfect for Mexican night in. As an FYI: I happen to use Tostito's corn chips in the recipe, I've also made it with Frito's, but Dorito's seem to burn. * Note, I brown the ground meat with 2 teaspoons of refrigerated chopped garlic because the Italian in me just can't brown meat solo.. :-)

1 (8 ounce) can Pillsbury Refrigerated Crescent Dinner Rolls
1 lb lean ground beef or 1 lb turkey
1 cup sour cream
2 cups finely shredded mild cheddar cheese, divided (I buy 2 of the 8 oz. packages)
1 small onion, diced
2 ounces sliced pitted olives
1 (1 ounce) packet taco seasoning (like Lawry's, Ortega or Taco Bell)
1 1/2 tablespoons water
3/4 of 13 oz. bag tortilla chips, crushed (I use Tostito's Restaurant Style)
Pam cooking spray

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees & spray pie dish with cooking spray.
  • Line pie dish and sides of dish with cresent rolls & overlap well to fill in any gaps. Sprinkle with 1/2 of the crushed tortilla chips.
  • Brown beef & drain. Add packet of taco seasoning & water then simmer for about 10 minutes. Remove from stove & spoon meat mixture over the prepared pie dish on top of the tortilla chips. Top with sour cream, onion, and olives. Sprinkle with 1 cup of shredded cheddar and top with remaining half of tortilla chips.
  • Bake for 20 minutes, remove from oven, top with remaining cheddar cheese and bake additional 5-10 minute until bubbly.
  • * Serve with additional sour cream, guacamole, salsa, tomatoes, salsa con queso, shredded lettuce, etc. if desired.
