4 center cut pork chops
1/2 cup flour
3/4 teaspoon poultry seasoning
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoon olive oil
1 1/2 cup chicken or beef broth
1 medium onion, chopped

Steps:

  • Place flour, poultry seasoning and salt into a zip-top plastic bag and shake to mix. Add chops and shake until they are lightly coated.
  • Heat a heavy skillet large enough to hold all the chops over medium high heat, adding the oil until it shimmers. Place the chops into the pan and saute 2 - 3 minutes per side until golden brown.
  • Remove chops from the pan and, still on the heat, add 2 tablespoons flour mixture from the plastic bag into the skillet, stirring a few seconds to cook the flour. Add about ½ cup of the broth to the skillet and cook and stir to lift any browned bits from the pan. Add the remaining broth to the pan and turn off the heat. Reserve the remaining flour mixture for later.
  • Place the onion into the bottom of the slow cooker and lay the pork chops on top. Pour the liquids from the pan over the chops, cover and cook on high 2 hours.
  • Open the cooker and ladle out about ¼ cup of the resulting juices into a small bowl. Stir in the remaining flour mixture from the plastic bag into the juices until completely smooth. Return this mixture to the slow cooker, stirring to mix. Cover and continue to cook 30- 45 more minutes.
  • Serve with mashed potatoes, using the sauce in the pot as gravy.

1 large onion, sliced into rings
10 center-cut boneless pork chops, trimmed
1 (10.75 ounce) can cream of onion soup
1 (10.75 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
5 fluid ounces water
1 (1 ounce) package ranch dressing mix
1 (1 ounce) package dry onion soup mix
salt and ground black pepper to taste

Steps:

  • Spread about half the onion slices into the bottom of the slow cooker. Arrange 5 pork chops atop the onion layer. Repeat layering with remaining onion and pork chops.
  • Pour cream of onion soup, cream of mushroom soup, and water over the pork chops and onion. Sprinkle ranch dressing mix and onion soup mix over the pork chops; season with salt and pepper.
  • Cook on High until the pork chops are tender to your liking, 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Alternately, you can cook on Low for 4 1/2 to 5 hours. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 145 degrees F (63 degrees C).

  • Place pork chops in the slow cooker.
  • Mix the onion soup mix, chicken broth, cream of chicken soup, and pork gravy mix together in a bowl.
  • Pour mixture over the chops.
  • Cook on low 6 to 8 hours until they are VERY fork tender. If they still aren't falling apart, cook 30 minutes more and check again (continue until they are how you want them).

I don't even like Pork, but was tricked into tasting this dish when I was told it was chicken. WOW! The meat was sooo tender and juicy; so tender in fact, that it was literally falling apart! It was like nothing I'd ever tasted before! Definitely not like my mother's hard, crusty pork chops! lol! This recipes goes hand in hand w/ some mashed potatoes. 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons dry mustard
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
6 lean boneless pork chops (1 in. thick)
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can condensed chicken broth
2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Steps:

  • Combine 1st four ingredients in a shallow dish.
  • Dredge chops in flour mixture and set aside.
  • Combine what is left of the flour mixture w/ the chicken broth and pour into your crock pot.
  • Pour oil into a large skillet and cook the chops in hot oil until browned on both sides.
  • Place chops in crock pot and cook covered on High for about 2 to 5 hours or until tender.
  • Serve w/ hot rice and/or mashed potatoes.
  • ++If the gravy becomes too thick just add a little water. If you accidentally add too much water then add a little more flour.
  • Season w/ salt and pepper too your taste.

2 pounds boneless pork loin chops (1 ¼ to 1 ½ inch thick (don't use thin pork chops))
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon ground black pepper
¼ cup all purpose flour
1 teaspoon garlic powder
¾ teaspoon ground mustard
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 medium yellow onion (sliced)
2 cloves garlic (minced)
1 x 14-ounce can chicken stock
¼ cup all purpose flour

Steps:

  • Season pork chops with salt and pepper.
  • In a shallow dish, combine the flour with garlic powder and ground mustard.
  • Dredge each pork chop in the flour, and shake off any excess.
  • Heat oil in a skillet over medium high heat, and brown pork chops on both sides until golden brown (work in batches) - about 2-3 minutes per side.
  • Transfer the pork chops to the slow cooker.
  • In the same skillet, sauté the onions until translucent (2-3 minutes), then add the garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
  • Transfer the onions and garlic to the slow cooker.
  • Pour the chicken stock over the chops. Cover and cook on LOW for 2-3 hours. The pork chops are ready when the internal temperature of the meat reaches 145°F/63°C. Make sure that they don't cook for too long and dry out.
  • Remove the pork chops onto a plate, and cover to keep warm.
  • Thicken the gravy by whisking in flour. Cook covered on HIGH until the gravy has thickened.
  • Return pork chops into the gravy to mix together. Serve warm with mashed potatoes and salad or steamed green vegetable (broccoli, green beans, broccolini, or asparagus).
