- To serve add rum, 2 tablespoons batter (or more) and fill with boiling water to fill cup.

- Heat milk almost to a boil in microwave or in a pot on the stove. Do not boil it!
- Combine sugar, cinnamon stick and rum in pre-heated, heatproof mug and stir until sugar is dissolved.
- Add milk, top with butter and a dash of nutmeg.

The mix without rum will keep for months in the refrigerator, ready for that perfect evening.... I wasn't sure how to post this with the rum so decided to post the mix separately as the mix makes way more than one drink!!
