MAPLE BOURBON INJECTED HAM
This Maple Bourbon Injected Ham is easy and delicious. By injecting a Maple Bourbon into the ham, you actually get the maple and Bourbon throughout the ham as opposed to simply on the outside. It is simple to do and only takes 3 ingredients so try this interesting and delicious way of preparing your next ham.

Steps:
- In a glass measuring cup, add butter and maple syrup. Microwave for 30 seconds or until butter has melted. Stir in the bourbon.
- Inject the ham in about 1 inch increments. Allow ham to rest overnight uncovered if possible.
- Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F.
- Put the ham, flat-side down, on a rack in a roasting pan
- Pour 1/4 inch water into the bottom of the pan.
- Transfer to the oven and roast until a thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the ham registers 145 degrees F
- Allow ham to rest for 15 minutes before carving.

GLAZED HAM RECIPE

- 1. Cut rind off ham, if present.
- 2. Score top surface of ham, stud with cloves, and place fat side up on a rack in a shallow baking pan. Bake in a 350 preheated oven, approximately 15 minutes per pound, or follow wrapper directions.
- 3. Combine sugar, syrup and mustard.
- 4. Use ¾ cup of glaze to baste ham every 10 minutes during last 30 to 45 minutes of baking. Stir cornstarch into remaining glaze in saucepan. Add pineapple with juice. Simmer, stirring constantly, until sauce thickens. Serve sauce with ham.
TRAEGER SMOKED HAM
Delicious double-smoked and maple-glazed ham is a super simple pellet-grill recipe that is one of my favorite ways to enjoy ham!

Steps:
- Fire up your grill according to manufacturer directions, and preheat to 325°.
- Score the top of your ham in a cross-cross pattern, and place into a large baking pan that has been lined with foil.
- Place the pan, uncovered, into the preheated grill, and cook for 1 hour.
- While the ham is cooking, combine all of the glaze ingredients in a small saucepan over medium heat, and simmer until the sugar is fully dissolved. Remove from heat and set aside.
- After the ham has been on the Traeger for an hour, brush it liberally with about half of the glaze.
- Cook for an additional 30 minutes, and then brush with glaze again. Cook another 15-20 minutes, or until the ham reaches at least 135°.
- Turn the grill to the SMOKE setting, or the lowest temperature before the smoke setting, and smoke the ham for 20-25 minutes.
- Remove from the grill and let rest for 10 minutes.
- Slice and serve with any remaining glaze that didn't get painted onto the ham.

- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Cut 1 inch deep criss-crosses into the flat side of the ham. In a small bowl, mix together the butter and honey. Slather onto the ham, making sure to get in the crevices too. Insert cloves into the ham if desired. Place in a roasting pan.
- Bake for 4 hours in the preheated oven, or 20 minutes per pound. The internal temperature should reach 160 degrees F (70 degrees C). Baste every 20 minutes with the drippings. Remove, slice, serve, savor.

EASY INJECTED HAM
We inject everything here in Louisiana. This is an injection i came up with when i couldn't find my favorite ham injection. I love the sweet and salty togather.

- 1. In a small sauce pan heat pineapple juice, brown sugar, mustard and clove until the brown sugar is dissolved.
- 2. let cool a few minutes but not to long or it will be to thick to inject.
- 3. Using a turkey injector inject at least half of the marinade. pour the rest over the ham and bake at 350 for around an hour depending on ham size.
AWESOME HAM GLAZE AND MARINADE
Spicy, sweet, and tangy, all in one shot. Glaze ham and marinate in refrigerator overnight if possible. Bake ham as you normally would.
