Steps:
- 1. In a medium saucepan combine all 3 ingredients. Stir and cook until cranberries pop open, about 5-7 minutes, over medium high heat, stirring occasionally.
- 2. Turn heat to low and cook for an additional 10-15 minutes, until slightly thickened. Remove from heat and cool in saucepan to room temperature.
- 3. Pour into a large mason jar or covered container and refrigerate until ready to serve. Serve cold.

- In a small sauce pan, whisk together the orange juice and sugar over medium low heat.
- Pour in the cranberries. Stir to combine. Continue to cook until the cranberries begin to pop. This will take about 10 minutes.
- Remove from heat and transfer to a serving bowl. The sauce will thicken as it sits.

This 3 ingredient cranberry sauce has the classic Thanksgiving cranberry flavor! Made with just fresh cranberries, orange juice and sugar, this recipe is super easy and always turns out perfect!

- Combine cranberries, orange juice and sugar (amount based on your sweetness preference- see notes) in a sauce pan over medium-high heat and cook until the mixture comes to a rolling boil.
- Once the mixture boils, reduce the heat to a simmer and continue to cook for 5-15 additional minutes, or until it starts to thicken. The longer you cook the more smooth it will be.
- Remove from heat and allow to cool to room temperature, then chill in fridge until serving. Cranberry sauce will continue to thicken as it cools.
- Optional: If you prefer smooth cranberry sauce, you can use a hand blender to blend until smooth.

- Remove any produce stickers on the outside of the orange and rinse the orange. Zest the orange to get as much orange zest as the orange allows. This amount will vary, but 1 teaspoons is great. Set the zest aside until later.
- Cut the zested orange in half and juice it. Pour the juice into a 1 cup measuring cup (it won’t fill the cup). Add water to the orange juice in the measuring cup until you have 1 full cup of liquid.
- In a medium sauce pan, combine the 1 cup of orange juice/water and the sugar. Add the cranberries and bring everything to a boil. Lower the heat to medium-low and simmer until the cranberries being to burst, stirring occasionally, for about 10 minutes. If less whole berries are desired, press the cranberries with the back of your cooking spoon. Remove from the heat and stir in the pinch of salt and most of the orange zest, reserving a pinch for sprinkling on top.
- Pour the cranberry sauce into a bowl or small serving dish. Sprinkle the top with the remaining orange zest. Cover and cool at room temperature. Once cooled, refrigerate until ready to serve.
