Number Of Ingredients 8

1 cup butter
1/2 cup white sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
2 large eggs
1/2 cup almonds, chopped
1 1/2 cups flour
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup almond paste, cut up real fine

Steps:

  • Cream butter and sugars together; then beat in the eggs.
  • Add the flour and soda and then mix in the almond paste.
  • If dough gets too stiff andd a few drops of water.
  • Mix in the nut meats.
  • Drop by teaspoonful on greased cookie sheet.
  • Bake in 325° oven for 15 minutes.

125 g almonds (skinned)
125 g sugar
1 egg
1 pinch salt
1/2 lemon (optional)

Steps:

  • Grind the almonds but don't use a kitchenmachine cause that may cause too much oil to come out.
  • Add the sugar, the egg, a pinch of salt and the lemon juice (optionally). Mix everything into a smooth mass.
  • It has to be at least a couple of days in the fridge before eaten to get optimal taste so wrap it thightly in foil.
  • You can keep it for a couple of weeks.
