3 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened
1 1/4 cups Original Bisquick™ mix
2 tablespoons boiling water
1 1/2 cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese (6 oz)
3/4 cup finely chopped cooked ham (4 oz)
3 medium green onions, sliced (3 tablespoons)
1 can (8 oz) pineapple tidbits in juice, well drained
3 eggs
3/4 cup half-and-half
1/4 teaspoon white pepper

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F. Spray 9-inch glass pie plate with cooking spray. In medium bowl, cut butter into Bisquick mix, using pastry blender (or pulling 2 table knives through ingredients in opposite directions), until crumbly. Add boiling water; stir vigorously until soft dough forms. Press dough on bottom and up side of pie plate, using fingers dipped in Bisquick mix, forming edge on rim of pie plate.
  • Sprinkle cheese, ham, onions and pineapple in crust. In medium bowl, beat eggs, half-and-half and pepper until blended. Pour into crust.
  • Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.

1 package (14.1 ounces) refrigerated pie crust
2 cups diced fully cooked ham
2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
2 teaspoons dried minced onion
4 large eggs
2 cups half-and-half cream
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400°. Unroll pie crusts into two 9-in. pie plates; flute edges. Line unpricked pie crusts with a double thickness of heavy-duty foil. Fill with pie weights, dried beans or uncooked rice. Bake until light golden brown, 10-12 minutes. Remove foil and weights; bake until bottom is golden brown, 3-5 minutes longer or Cool on wire racks., Divide ham, cheese and onion between shells. In a large bowl, whisk eggs, cream, salt and pepper until blended. Pour into crusts. Cover edges loosely with foil. Bake until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean, 35-40 minutes. Let stand 5-10 minutes before cutting. Freeze option: Cover and freeze unbaked quiche. To use, remove from freezer 30 minutes before baking (do not thaw). Preheat oven to 350°. Place quiche on a baking sheet; cover edge loosely with foil. Bake as directed, increasing time as necessary for a knife inserted in the center to come out clean.

2 ½ cups cooked and cubed ham
2 green onions, chopped
1 cup pineapple chunks, drained
1 ⅓ cups pineapple juice
4 teaspoons cider vinegar
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 teaspoons prepared mustard
2 tablespoons cornstarch

Steps:

  • Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Saute the ham, onions and pineapple chunks in the butter for about 5 minutes.
  • In a separate medium bowl, combine the pineapple juice, vinegar, brown sugar, mustard and cornstarch. Stir this together well and pour over the ham mixture in the skillet. Stir well and allow to heat through and thicken, about 5 minutes.

3 can(s) hash brown potatoes, frozen
1/2 stick butter, melted

1 pinch pepper
FILLING
3/4 c ham, cubed

Steps:

  • 1. Crust-- Combine ingredients, press into 9 inch pie plate. Cook in oven for 25 minutes on 450 degrees. Let cool completely

Steps:

  • Line unpricked pie crust with a double thickness of heavy-duty foil. Bake at 450° for 8 minutes. Remove foil; bake 5 minutes longer. Cool on a wire rack while preparing filling., Toss cheeses with flour; set aside. In a large bowl, combine the eggs, milk, onion and seasonings. Stir in the ham, broccoli and the cheese mixture. 1 (9 inch) unbaked ready-roll pie crusts (at room temperature)
1 1/2 cups dubliner cheese (freshly shredded)
1/2 cup swiss cheese or 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, freshly shredded
1 1/4 cups minced ham (fully cooked)
4 slices canned pineapple (cut into tidbits, blotted dry on paper towel)
1 cup half-and-half cream
4 eggs
1/2 tablespoon dried onion flakes
1 tablespoon dried chives
2 pinches cayenne pepper
1/8 teaspoon salt

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Unroll the room temperature pie crust into a 9-inch Pyrex pie plate, or into a 10-inch Corningware quiche dish.
  • Loosely place the shredded cheeses over the pie crust.
  • Top the cheese with the minced ham, and the pineapple tidbits.
  • Combine the half & half, eggs, onion flakes, dried chives, cayenne pepper, and salt.

1 deep dish pie crust
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup Monterey Jack cheese
1 cup half and half
4 eggs
1 cup cubed ham
2 large Granny Smith apples, skinned and sliced thin
1 Tablespoon sugar (can substitute Sugar Twin or Sweet and Low)
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 Tablespoon dry mustard powder
1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/8 teaspoon garlic salt

Steps:

  • Place first layer with half the cheese, second layer ham, and third layer apples (add sugar and cinnamon to the top of apples). Top off with cheese that's left. Mix eggs and half and half (use blender to mix). Add dried mustard powder, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic salt to blended eggs. Pour in pie crust and cook for 45 to 55 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes before slicing.

1 cup cream (, heavy/thickened (halve if subbing milk, Note 1))
1/4 tsp salt ((Note 2))
1/2 tsp black pepper
100g/ 3.5 oz ham (, diced)
1 cup shredded cheese ((anything that melts except mozzarella, Note 3))
1 green onion (, sliced)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 180°C/350°F. Grease with butter or spray a 22.5cm / 9" pie dish (Note 4)
  • Whisk eggs, cream, salt and pepper.
  • Scatter most of the ham, cheese and green onion in the pie pan.
  • Pour in egg mixture. Top with remaining ham, cheese and green onion.
  • Bake 35 minutes until golden on top and centre barely wiggles. Don't overcook, it will lose custardy-ness.
  • Remove from oven, rest 5 minutes and watch it deflate!
  • Cut then serve with a simple side salad, or stuff into soft rolls, or wrap into burritos (then pan fry to crisp!)
